Feature-packed and solid
This is a good TV. It works well as second monitor for a PC (allowing my HP PC to control 'overscan'). It has an internet socket for a cable connection and this offers reliable way of playing media from other PCs on the network that offer streaming (eg Windows Media Player). It has a built in web browser that works well enough with the handset. The TV picture and sound are fine. The favourite channels routine is quite sophisticated - my favourites, your favourites, his favourites.... - though it might seem over-complex at first. The base onscreen menu is highly customisable - computer, BBC1, served music, iPlayer etc ordered to your taste. It also has a VGA input which I don't think I saw in the product description. The Wifi is good for most purposes though I found that for local streaming a cable connection made things a whole easier. Recording programmes to USB works fine with a 32Gb USB but I couldn't get a 128GB version to work. You can't use the stored programmes on anything else - but I gather thats a copyright issue. Good product, well designed at a good price.

Great tv for the bedroom
I was hesitant about purchasing this tv after reading the previous reviews however, I am really glad I purchased it. It is used in the bedroom for use with the PlayStation. It is worth noting that this is not in built Alexa .ie the tv doesn’t have a built in microphone. It is ‘works with Alexa’ which means you just have to log in and your Alexa dot/show/phone app will control it. I love lying in bed half asleep saying goodnight Alexa and it turns off the tv and the bedroom light. The future is incredible! There are sometimes connectivity issues but this says more about my network than the tv. I also have issues with the lights and the echo dot.I have found this tv to be a great replacement for my old flickering tv 📺 a lot lighter than I expected too.

Excellent value 32" Toshiba TV with good picture and sound quality
We are very pleased with this purchase, the picture is crisp and the sound quality is much better than other Toshiba TVs we have in the house. Having said that we still use a JVC sound bar for enhanced audio but it works fine without it. The smart TV function is a bonus with easy access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and You Tube and the Wi-Fi works fine. We use Sky Q multi-room and everything works well together. We also purchased an Invision Ultra Slim TV Wall Mount Bracket with 20 Inch Cantilever Arm to mount the TV and it was very easy to install and holds the TV well. My only negative is the TV does not have a sleep funtion available but we got around this by setting the auto switch-off function to one hour and that works well for us.

Pile of junk - do not buy
It's light, flimsy and twitchy. The remote control response is extremely slow causing double press and scrolling issues. Setting the TV up is painful due to the remote response and the fact that it wont display WiFi unless it detects a WiFi signal. We have multiple WiFi signals to choose from and the TV refused to pick up any of them for about 5 minutes. It also lost WiFi after a day and had to be reset before it would pick it up again.Amazon sent out a replacement and it was worse than the first. It also had the slow response remote problem, turned itself on in the middle of the night and lost WiFi.Sent both back to Amazon and replaced the Toshiba with a 32" LG for the same price. The different in quality is astounding, the LG is superb. Don't waste your time and money on a Toshiba.

Poor signal, apps crash, poor audio quality.
Not the best product I’ve ever purchased.Firstly, I recognise that this is a fairly cheep tv for what you get. However, there are a few things which get very frustrating. Firstly, watching standard tv on this is pretty much impossible. The picture cuts out 50% of the time like you have bad signal, but then if you load the guide and go back on to the same channel, sometimes it works absolutely fine! Very bizarre.Secondly, the YouTube app in particular has a tendency of crashing. I’ve had the tv about a month and it crashing about once an hour, especially if you are switching through videos quite quickly.Third, the sound quality is really quite poor. I would recommend getting a sound bar. It’s not all bad however, it looks fine and as mentioned earlier, it is quite cheap. Also the picture quality is decent. However, with all the negatives I would not recommend this tv.

Very impressed!
I am surprisingly impressed with this TV. Picture quality is absolutely brilliant and the sound is good too.Fixing the pedestal was unusually easy and the whole installation was painless! As there is a LAN socket directly behind the TV, I a used wired connection to the internet (rather than wireless). It was simplicity itself. There was a software update which installed automatically and just took a couple of minutes. There 3 HDMI sockets but, as with most modern TVs, no SCART. We use all of the HDMI ports without issues. The TV automatically switches to a port when an attached device is powered on and returns to normal TV when the attached device is powered off. All very convenient!I did find the menu system a tad confusing initially but I worked it out eventually without recourse to the user guide! It is rather different from the 'drop down' menu systems I have encountered before but, once mastered, its easy enough. The short cut buttons for Amazon Prime etc are appreciated.I have a Logitech Harmony 350 universal remote control to reduce the number of remotes in use. This particular TV is fully supported by the Harmony 350 - with all buttons replicated correctly. As such, the Toshiba original remote control currently resides in a drawer in case of emergencies!Overall, I am impressed and, thus far, very happy!
