TayMac DA28 PTAC Air Deflector, 28.5" Inside Dimension

People in reviews say that it did not come with screws . Mine did . However I used heavy duty double sided tape to install because my landlord does not allow us to drill holes in anything . I installed it backwards and it has worked to move the air away from my face when sleeping . I have a small room in a Brooklyn apartment and the air was always blowing on my face. This solved the problem . Doubles sided tape works well for installation and won’t result in a loss of deposit.

My mother is in an Assisted Living facility where they heat and cool the rooms with PTAC units. She had her main lift recliner chair by the window and was bothered by the direct airflow on her from the PTAC unit. The air deflector was perfect to push the air up rather than out on her.

This is just what I needed to deflect the air flow upwards and away from those sitting directly in front of the unit. Yes, it can be installed to deflect outward away from drapes or upwards. It fit my PTAC unit perfectly.I would have given a 5 star rating, but the package did NOT include the screws and washers that the instruction said were included. So, I had to make a trip to the hardware store.

First the product came masterfully wrapped. It would have been very difficult to damage. That being said it is worthless to me without the mounting hardware and adapter wedges. How hard is it to insure all of the product is in the box before shipping?

As reported by other buyers, the hardware is missing. If you don’t mind making alterations then this will work for you.

I received this order today but unfortunately one and was broken off. It is such a big box that I am reluctant to return it. It may help my air-conditioning problem I little but I don't think it is the solution I was hoping for, doesn't fit as it should.
