The installation instructions were clear and the installation was easy. But the wires were hard to pull off the old batteries.

We have been using Cyberpower UPS products in our home for several years. We tried other brand batteries as they needed replacement and they either failed within a year OR the UPS would report error or failure with them on and off. We returned to only using the brand batteries, CyberPower and had no more problems. They last MUCH longer than off brands as well. I won’t stop using them. Yes they cost a little more, but when dealing with electrical devices safety of my home, devices and family are more important than the cost of the battery.

The batteries on my Cyberpower CST135XLU were basically dead. If power was lost, it was a matter of maybe 2 minutes before the UPS died. Not good when I have a NAS on the UPS which needs time to shut down properly. So I started looking around for replacement batteries. There are cheaper, 3rd party batteries listed on Amazon, but I figured it was worth the extra money to get the official ones. Hopefully they last another several years - so maybe $50 extra over 3 or 4 years to get the OEM batteries seems fair. Replacement was easy enough, maybe 10 minutes from start to finish. Some of the connectors can be a bit tricky to get of the old batteries, but just be careful with it.

Got a few of these to replace the old batteries in a couple of my CP units (the ones sold at Costco). Cheaper, but not my much, than getting a new unit at Costco. Easy to install. Only hassle is to get rid of the old batteries in an environmentally safe way.

I got this battery pack to replace failed battery in my Cyberpower unit that I got at Costco a couple of years ago. The batteries that arrived in OEM Cyberpower box (which was inside Amazon's own box) are nothing more than generic 1270 batteries made by one of the billions of generic manufactuers, Cyberpower does not make their own batteries, they just find cheapest suppliers of 1270 and put a sticker on them with their brand. The original brand (which is printed by manufacturer on battery casing itself) is not even the same that was the brand of "stock" batteries that originally came with UPS. So don't be like me and waste so much money - find a reliable manufacturer of any 1270 battery and buy a couple of them, it will cost you 2x less than buying same battery with Cyberpower's paper sticker slapped on the side of the battery.

Perfect fit for Cyber Power CST135XLU. This is a lot cheaper than buying a new UPS, and it keeps the old unit out of the e-waste stream. Very easy to install. Highly recommend.
