We use this in a hot tub, only remove it when cleaning and never roughhouse with it. The thermometer detached on the inside of the clear tube and will jiggle around, so temperature readings are not accurate. Never dropped or threw the thermometer. Was good for a few months. We also got a whale and it’s fine.

Works so far..string attachment not long enough..easy fix

This thermometer is accurate and easy to read. So far it is holding up fairly well, but half way through the first summer it is already faded from bright yellow to very pale yellow and the bright orange fin is now barely on the orange side of white. This is a pool thermometer so it should be expected to be floating in, you guessed it, a pool! I am not hopeful for the long term durability of this little fishy.

Works great for our outdoor pool. Durability will be tested with our two dogs that like to try and fish it out.

Love this fun floating fish! Easiest and most accurate to read while in the water

I was happy when I first received this. Then over 6 months time i discovered:a) the string rots in a bromine hot tubb) you can only read the temperature when the water magnifies the blue liquid against the numbers, and that is until the water runs out, then you have to dip the thermometer to refill the tube to read the temp again...c) the blue bulb came un-glued from the number backing, so now the thermometer is useless. Now I have to get a replacement...

Cute but is not accurate and when I put it in pool it goes sideways
