Nalgene Wide Mouth Rectangular Bottle

Bought two of these for backpacking. The square design fits well into the pack allowing for two to set next to each other without wasted space. The durable construction gave me confidence that no leaks would occur due to rough handling of the backpack. THE LID IS NOT ATTACHED TO BODY so keep that in mind when using! Almost lost the cap down a narrow “crevasse”.

We bought various sizes of these containers to take with us in our cooler for a long weekend camping trip. We took things like milk, orange juice, homemade salsa, cucumbers in vinegar, liquor. Everything fit so much neater into our cooler because of the rectangular shapes of these containers. If we had taken the items in their original containers, we would have had half the room! None of the containers leaked at all, which was a first for us. Normally on our camping trips either food leaks out or the melted ice water in the cooler leaks into the food so it's a constant struggle to stay on top of that. This time everything stayed perfectly sealed and we didn't have to worry about it. They are very sturdy in that I wasn't able to squeeze them with my bare hands so I knew they wouldn't get crushed in the cooler. All in all, I am very pleased with this product and will be buying more for our next trip!

I bought this for my elementary school goer after researching several other products to take milk with lunch. It is perfectly sized. I bought five of these for sending one everyday of the week. It does need a cold pack and the narrow mouth is a bit harder to clean. But, my child really likes this and gives a grown up feel among other kids who still bring milk in sippers. This has not leaked thus far and it is very useful. I would recommend putting in water once it comes back and rinsing before placing in dish washer. Smelling the inside before adding fresh milk would help avoid any mold growth.

This is the best option if you’re trying to carry a lot of water without taking up too much space in your bag or trunk. The original lid works just fine, no leaks. I have no clue why the reviewer IanCaper is complaining about PET 2, they must not understand what that means. PET 7 is one of the least safe plastics because it actually has BPA. So you’re getting a safer product made of very high quality PET 2 plastic. This is a genuine Nalgene product and is one of the best high capacity water bottle on the market.

I like this bottle, but without any kind of indentions for grip, I find it hard to hold when full. THe bottle is thick and sturdy and pours well, it is just hard for me to hold. A handle or indentions would help.

Replaced four 16 oz frozen waters I used in my 19qt Engel cooler. These Nalgene containers work good and give me more space since they both also replace the one gallon of water I take for work. Great set up for summer with one frozen and one cold water. In winter I will need less water and less ice

I own multiples of this type of Nalgene container in the 8, 16, 32 and 64 ounce sizes. These bottles are thick walled, heavy duty and impart absolutely zero taste to any water or beverage stored in them. They also are easy to clean and dry quickly due to the wide mouth opening. In addition, they are virtually leak proof with just a firm turn of the cap - I have never had anything leak out of these bottles after years of use over many different applications. One of my bottles is about 15 years old and has seen near daily use, and other than a little yellowing of the plastic, it functions as new.I use them for anything and everything - for example, I use them for drinking water storage in my refrigerator. Where I live, I have to avoid tap water, so I have to buy / mix my drinking water (mine is a combo of mineral water, Arrowhead and RO). I also use them to store my coffee / espresso water, which is a different mix of water. Then, I use them for camping to hold juice, water and milk in my cooler. I also use them as an ice block in the cooler itself - I fill them with water and freeze them, and combined with ice and a Yeti cooler makes a nice combination to hold ice for a long time.These bottles are worth every penny, as they are virtually indestructible and will provide years of leak proof service. I'm not sure this is actually a Nalgene bottle, it says it is, but it's doesn't look , behave, and most importantly smell like any of the 5 other Nalgene I've owned over the years.Edit: Nalgene does NOT show any bottles like this in their website/catalog, nothing even close.This has a distinct plastic smell that hasn't gone away despite months of use and attempts to eliminate.

Das Material wirkt stabil und hochwertig. Der Verschluß hält dicht und ist gut transportieren. Aas ich sehr schade finde, daß es ungenau beschrieben ist, welche Größen die Falschen haben. Es sind 3 größen in der Beschreibung angegeben. Wählbar sind diese nicht. Mal davon abgesehen, dass man denkt man bekomme 5 Flaschen wie auf dem Produktebild. Dem ist nicht so. Sonst aber ein gutes Produkt. Leider kann ich damit nichts anfangen. Da die Größe nicht stimmt.

Tiene un orificio para aspirar pero no tiene pajita. donde se puede conseguir la pajita?

Verwende die Flaschen für den Brennspiritus meines Brenners.Absolut dicht und nicht zu groß für den Rucksack, trotzdem groß genug für einige Einsätze.
