Very difficult interface
I've got a 2006 Escape with the engine light on. After trying a couple times, all I can get is that there are no error codes. "Clear all errors" does not make the light go off.The interface is very confusing, and clearly written by someone that learned English as an adult - it's proper, but confusing (as an example, 'plug in the unit and ignite your car'). The result is, the directions are very hard to follow and using the app is not intuitive.It may be that this can still tell me why my check engine light is on, but it 5 tries, I've not hit it yet.Another example, there are different areas the app checks, and it tells you that cold start is preferred,but it doesn't tell you if you can do a cold start and check each one in sequence, or you can check one and come back on a different day.I've not learned anything of value so far.

missing many sensor readings
This device is great as a basic reader, if you wish to see speed, read and clear engine codes, monitor oxygen sensors, etc. But there are many of the app readings that are simply N/A. For example, it gives a fuel consumption reading, but not fuel level percentage. I ended up spending more money for another reader that was more capable.

China called, they want their junk back. Some of the menus aren’t even in English. It will read and clear codes though so I am keeping it. Don’t try to datalog any PID though.

Decent
My only complaint is that it only appears to work with their app, “Guardinator”. Would give 5 stars if it could be used with other apps, or if there is a way I’m not aware of I will update my review.

Works but the app is a translation
It helped me diagnose an engine idle problem but the app is rudimentary. I’ll bet there a lot more things this device could do if the app was better.

the little card that they send with it scanning the license code but the the code on adapter works
Have a Kia Ford 6o Powerstroke Dodge Cummins Ford Escape. Works well with all of them. With the Torque Pro app that will pull up almost any code you can think of. Overall very pleased with it and it is also the elm327 OBD. Would buy again and recommend to a friend

Waste of money
Worked fine for a while then got to smelling something funny. I wouldn’t have one. Threw it in the trash

Questionable App
Product works good connects almost instantly, but you have to use the guardian app which isn't great. Only gives live readings for one thing at a time and it's put on a graph so it just looks weird overall, they should just use guages.
