Perfect weight, stable, thoughtfully designed
This is a very good wok. I appreciate the 1.2 mm thickness. Often folks seem to be looking for thicker and heavier woks, but that makes it hard to handle and also interferes with temperature control. The slightly thinner metal is better for stir fry, and it is still very sturdy. I was worried the flat bottom might not be wide enough for stability but I needn’t have worried - it is very sturdy and functional. The shape and curvature of the work is great. The wooden handle is great because it won’t get hot. The handle is attached to the wok with thee rivets, must sturdier than others that just use two. The helper handle is a must for me, and surprisingly hard to find in woks. I am a huge fan of carbon steel cooking - this wok and my De Buyer fry pan (thick and heavy, closer to cast iron) are my two kitchen workhorses. Thanks for this great wok!!

Worth it all Ya'll !
I have had & gotten rid of so many "wanne be woks". I researched for a long time & knew this was the one. I was so glad to see how wonderfully well made it is & larger than expected. Removing the factory coating was a bitch from hell. I had my Grandson over & he thought I had showered after an hour of extreme effort. I constantly boiled water, scrubbed, etc. I thought, hell I am too damn old for this. I saw YouTube videos that contradicted the directions that came with this wok. I did not stray. I figured that they knew best & would not sabotage their own product. I did use my large electric kettle to get boiling hot water, many times. I reread the directions, it said to get MOST of the factory finish off. Good enough. When seasoning the wok, do as it instructs. I did tilt the wok on my largest gas burner all around to get it hot, smoking black. I seasoned it three times. Thank God I have an enclosed porch off my kitchen with a ceiling fan. It is a smokey, smelly thing to do for the end result. Worth it all. It is now black inside & out. I used it on the 3rd day & it is a game changer. I am vegetarian so it is still worth it all for tofu, veggies & more. Oh yum ya'll. Peace be with you.

Traditional wok, make sure you follow prepping procedure
It’s a traditional wok. Lots of prep when you first get it to ensure it doesn’t rust. Okay product. Should be priced at about 40 bucks. Be sure you follow directions on prepping.

GREAT BUY
I really like this WOK. It is sturdy, easy to handle and the food comes out great. This is actually the first experience I have had with a WOK. I would say follow the care instructions, I made the mistake- though little- of using vegetable oil to season it, since the smoke point was so high it caused the bottom to blacken much quicker than if I would have used canola, or olive. But, in the end it still worked out.

Terrible wok...0 stars!
It wobbles terribly; very unsafe. Bottom not flat ans they claim and it also rusts! Don't buy! Used it only maybe 3 times....in the garbage now. Zero stars. Waste of money.

Love it
The wok is everything one wants. It is sturdy and well made. The primary wood handle is comfortable and, as long as your hand is not too close to the metal, insulates well. The helper handle is useful for carrying a full wok with two hands. Seasoning, much like a cast iron skillet, was straightforward. Cooking was even across the wok, and the flat bottom allows it to sit on a flat surface. We love it!

Very happy with the wok. Make sure you clean it well before seasoning
Just received it today. Went through the cleaning and seasoning process following YouTube videos. There was apparently plastic laminated on both side of the wok once you pour really hot water on, you can see it. Use steel wool scratch pad to remove them thoroughly. So make sure you washed the wok really well before doing the seasoning. It took my almost 2 hours to complete the whole process. It’s well worth the efforts. It now heats up so fast, I am locking my other pots, woks away now.

good wok for the money.
This is a good wok for the money. It's not the most sturdy when full and does seem like it's pre stamped and then hammered to seem like its hand made. I have a real hand made wok and this is not even close in quality. There is a coating that starts to come off after a few uses. not sure if its harmful and hope to season of the wok will help. I only bought this because the really nice wok i have doesn't work with my flat top burners. knw what you are buying.
