Sometimes you need it and sometimes you don't.
Sometimes you don't need the original manufacturer equipment to make your car run. This was one of them. Priced much lower than OEM, it's been working for about a year now.

Good replacement switch
I bought and installed this oil pressure switch a couple months ago to replace a defective switch that came on the truck. It fit perfectly and works as it should. Much less expensive than the dealer sells.
