Works just as described - Shame no PoI though
The media could not be loaded. This Wi-Fi Security Camera is for me, a very affordable surveillance camera that lets you monitor activity outside of your home, giving you a great peace of mind when traveling.PRO:- 1080P FHD video (so far impressed by the image quality).- Day and night surveillance with the help of low light LED.- Local and cloud-based video storage.- Motion detection.- Nice sleek design that does not make the house looking too much "ghetto" after installing a bunch of those around.- Easy to install.- Weatherproof with IP66 rating.- Reasonably priced.NOT SO GOOD:- Power over internet is not supported.

Disconnects every 10 to 20 minutes even with exceptionally strong Wi-Fi signal
I bought this camera to replace a cheaper one that was vandalized. The old one had worked perfectly 24/7 for three years with never an outage. Unfortunately, this camera gives me nothing but outages. Every 10 to 20 minutes the image freezes and a message appears "In idle, click refresh". Then the process repeats.This happens with two different Android tablets using their app called "YCC365 Plus", which is required. It happens when using the Chrome browser on a PC. There, the video just stops and the screen displays the "Play" icon.I contacted the vendor who suggested that I must have a network problem. The network is the same as the one my old camera used. It has a strong Wi-Fi signal. I even placed a range extender 3 ft from the camera as an experiment- no change.I will note that I can ping the camera using the PC command ping -t [IP ADDRESS] and the camera consistently responds with a reply in 2 ms., without interruption, even when the video freezes. I have no explanation for why the camera can reply to a ping at the same time it drops the video stream.Anyway, since I was unable to get the camera to work for longer than 20 minutes, I was forced to return it. Your experience may be better.I would like to mention two other factors you may wish to consider. First, the camera does NOT support the RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). If it did, you could use any number of third party viewers to view the stream, such as VLC for Android. Otherwise, you are locked into their app.Second, the night IR illumination mainly covers the center of the image. It becomes a washed-out dim grey on the left and right of the frame. It's great the camera has a wide-angle lens, but unfortunately the IR illumination is more of a spot beam (so they can claim longer distance), and it only covers the middle of the image at night.

Great camera with a great picture both day and night
Overall a very good camera with a very good picture. Only drawback for me, is that it only works on the 2.4 wifi band. This gave me problems when setting it up. Once I got that sorted out and installed, the camera worked great. It has a very clear picture and the phone alerts for sound and movement are great. Very good device for the price. Directions were very easy to follow for setting up the camera.

Clear and Suitable viewing
I got this camera about a month ago and it has been suitable for its intended purpose: giving me a line of sight to my driveway which is on the side of my house. The image quality and the audio have been better than I imagined.The setup was straight forward. I watched some videos by other reviewers and then followed the instructions on getting the app and connecting to my home WiFi - this was quick and I had no issues here.I placed the camera above my garage door, and screwed it in with the accompanying screws. I had to use a 25ft extension cord to get to the outlet on the ceiling of my garage. The cable that came with the camera is barely 4ft long, so if your outlet is not close by get yourself an extension cord. Besides that, the installation was straight forward and relatively easy.The day time image quality is excellent *see pic*... The night vision is also quite good and I was impressed by that.Here are few things I am not impressed by:1) There is sometimes a loss of connectivity that causes a continuous looping of an image loading. I have to close the app and open it again sometimes to reload.2) The motion and sound detection was way too sensitive and when I check on a notification, there isn't anything that I can see that may have triggered it. So, I had to turn off Sound detection all together and set motion detection to Low.3) There is a slight delay between an action outside and a notification via the app.All in all, this is a good purchase and I recommend this product.I installed a 126GB SD card in the camera and my recordings are stored on it. I view playbacks on the app and that is very convenient. I didn't bother signing up for the cloud storage - no need.The two way audio is quite clear from the camera and from the app. It has come in handy too.Weather-wise, the camera has stood up to very high winds for hours, rain, snow and an icy rain event which dipped the temperatures in to the teens.For what i needed and the purpose, this camera works very well and is adequately suited. I recommend this product.
