Danner Men's Marine Temperate Military Boot

These are the best boots I've ever had. Bought my first pair in 2003 for the Iraq war and decided to replace these 13 year old, blood stained, combat worn Danners with the exact same pair. Hope to get another 14-20 years out of these boots.

I love Danner boots. I've worn them professionally as a police officer for many years, as an outdoorsman, and now wear them on the job again.They certainly aren't the cheapest boots around but...the cheapest boots aren't Danners.I wouldn't normally buy boots online without trying them on first. But, after having purchased so many pair of Danner boots in the past I know exactly what size to order and what to expect with the fit. These were no exception.Out of the box the fit was perfect. The craftsmanship is impeccable. No flaws in the boots that I can see. They obviously use top-notch materials in the construction of these boots, just like they do with all the others.Being former USAF, I'll just overlook the globe and anchor. :) I needed this style and color and this was the best choice available.Made in the USA, waterproof, recraftable, functional, heavy duty...just what I need in a pair of boots that will be on my feet for 12 hours a day.Great boots.

I've been blessed with size 15 narrow (A width) feet, and not had a really good fitting pair of shoes or boots for a half century now, every since I reached my adult size. My feet are 12 inches by 4 inches, at the longest and widest. The Danner 15N is about a B width, so with a couple pairs of thick socks, I've got it made.I've had a pair of Lowa Men's Seeker GTX PT Approach Shoes, Black, size 15M, that I purchased on Amazon five years ago. They were nearly a good fit, a little wide for my feet, and no narrower size available. The Lowa boots have a couple of weak spots in the construction where the leather is tearing now, near the base of the laces. The Lowa Seekers (now discontinued model) have an injected sole that is not resolable. "The injection provides a bond between the sole and upper that completely tears apart when one tries to remove it." (quoting some post on the militarymorons.com website claimed to be from a Lowa spokesperson.)These Danner boots come in more sizes, and appear to have a stronger leather and construction in all possible ways. The full Gore-tex bootie liner is also sweet - water proof and another bit of comfort. The "speed lacing" lets one leave the boot laced and then to quickly tighten the upper half dozen laps of lacing with one pull at the top. The Danners have a stitched on sole that can be replaced (though that shoe's Vibram sole may out last me.)When I purchased my size 15N Danner boots, a couple of weeks ago, Amazon said there was only one pair left in stock. Looking right now, I see several similar sizes have one in stock, but that there are zero of my size 15N in stock. Hopefully Danner has an order working their way through their shop to make another 15N for the Amazon stock, and that boot size will show up again on Amazon in a month or two. So ... if you see "Only one in stock" of your unusual size, you might not want to hesitate in buying, or else someone else may get that one and you would have to wait for another of that size to be made (assuming that will even happen.)Thanks, Danner.

Dislike that the plastic heel mold broke because it is cheaply made and I paid upwards of $300 for the boots. Danner customer service offered some % off a new pair of boots (likely costing me a few hundred bucks) if I paid to mail my the pair I purchased to their repair line for costly repair... I think not Danner. My Herman Survivors fromW Walmart aren't as comfortable but the heel mold isn't broke in them either and they get the dirty hard work.Red Wing for me next time.

Nice boot.I have had these boots for six months and they appear to be durable and worthy.I am a land surveyor, and l put boots through most terrain/torture; walking, running, climbing, standing, balancing, concrete, rocks, dirt, water, heat, cold, etc.I use to wear all makes and types of work boots for most field activity. I did find a pair or two of about twenty five throughout my career that were worth the investment.These boots are heavy. Prepare to adjust for that.. once I did, these really became the boot I had read about in the reviews.Fit was a bit tight for me but, I have a slightly wider foot. I may have wanted the tighter fit a more agile boot but, I am still good with a wide regardless.I researched countless hours for my next pair of boots and took the chance on these boots. Seems to have been a wise decision. These aren't the sexiest boot. However, I didn't intend on these to be office attire.

Great pair of boots. Wore them in the rain, mud and streams. Performed well, solid on rocky ground and sturdy without being too heavy. Reminds me of my previous Danner boot, the Ft. Lewis version as far as field performance. Reminds me of the old military speed lace boots of old but with a better sole, Hopefully your command will allow you to use them out in the field. Great boot, highly recommend for hiking, hunting and fishing. I've actually run in them and played volleyball in them as well!

Just got today, 9/1/17 my order of this Danner Marine 26025 style and I'm extremely pleased upon inspection its superb quality materials and craftsmanship. It looks so heavy on the picture yet a lot more lighter than I anticipated. The inside is fully cushioned for total comfort and the durability of construction is so evident as I look with amazement. I couldn't be more happier after trying it on. Appreciate also the speed and promptness of delivery and received on the day as Amazon had promised. Excellent quality and service and looking forward for more purchase in the future.
