I just got this case and have not done rigorous testing, but I did the water test & held the case under water for 2-3 minutes, the paper towel survived.

Great water proofing! Only complaint is most photos end up looking like they are taken underwater, when they aren't actually taken under water. But for complete waterproof protection, there are sacrifices, and this keeps my phone safe!

Good inexpensive case for teen phone. It’s been holding up well and the audio and Call quality is a noticeable improvement over the previous LifeProof and cheaper to boot. Easy to install

I have had this case on my phone for a few years now and I am planning on buying a replacement soon. It's survived a lot. It's been dropped numerous times and been in and of out the water several times from being dropped in creeks at fish camp and other times. I originally bought it due my job at Kroger's where cleaning dishes and the floor usually left my shirt and pockets wet. I would recommend it to anyone that is worried about getting their phones wet.

I bought it for my sister and when it arrived I tested it right away with a paper towel. It passed the test so next I put in my phone and put it under water and took some pics and they came out decent. I would recommend. I bought it two months ago and she still brags how much she loves the case. The color is very pretty too!

It looks very nice, click in tight but the sound coming out is very bad probably because it is tight and the phone over heats in there. We just received it so we will try it out for a few days and see if we will keep it or not but it does look nice.

Make sure your charging end is small enough to fit. Enjoying my new case.

Great case for the money! I bought it several months ago and it's held up great. Works with iPhone apple chargers, but not many others. The only downside is that it disables the sensor that tells the phone you're talking on it and if it touches your face, it mutes the call.

I tested the case to make sure it was water proof (as instructed) and it did seem to be water proof. It was a bit of a struggle to get the phone lined in the case properly - getting the mute button lined was a pain. Once I got it all lined up, it snapped together nicely. Now that the phone was installed, I haven't tested in water again - and I don't plan on intentionally getting it wet. Wanted the case mostly for the drop protection. Overall, I quite like the case and how it looks.Here's what I don't like ... the plastic screen protector doesn't fit tight again the screen, do sometimes the screen misses a press ... don't like how small the charging port opening is (that's a really dumb problem to have ... just make the opening bigger so that it'll accommodate lots of different charging cables).

There are two similar products on the Amazon, one has one color, the oher one is black color edge. both are almost identical design except rubber on the edge. Probably the same manuacturer, but it is nicer to have black color edge since edge tend to get dirty)Although I haven't tried in the water, it probably has more than enough waterproof functions agaist rain and snow, (by case, rubber ring and thin screen) and has tough against physical shock. (by rubber material along edge)Althugh speaker vent are rerouted to the back panel (instead of bottom), it doesn't affect the volume level much. (unless you put the phone flat on the table.One thing to note is, it has metal plate behind the back cover, (not visible from outside) that is very handy to use with magnet dash board/car holder. Only thing negative about/ but probably not much worry about/ is, only tiny lightning cable (such as original Apple cable) can be attached to the port, because of waterproof/shock proof structure. (much thicker than ordinal case)It comes with 3.5mm headphone jack extention (probably because some headphone/earphone doesn't fo through the hole) and hand loop (which can attach through built-in hole on the botto, for extra protection)Over all, I feel much safer/comfortable to carry this tiny iphone.

This case passed my 2 minute under 10cm of water in my sink test. So for the winter months I'm 100% sure if I drop my phone in the slush or a puddle, it will survive. Color was true to pic and all the function buttons work well. Finally a product that shows value!

Overall, a decent product. The screen is sensitive and the casing doesn't interfere with the controls EXCEPT I couldn't adjust the ringer/silent button. I might just be impatient or inept, but I couldn't tell if it was on silent so I had to take the casing off to find out and realized it's difficult to take off (which I'd expect as a waterproof case needs a tight seal). I want to put it back on so will do some research to figure out if there's a product defect or if I just put it on wrong and need to be more careful in lining things up next time.

I bought this to keep my iPhone 5S which was falling apart. The screen was coming loose. Using this case kept the pieces together. It is waterproof. The plastic screen cover can become scratched up soon but I'm not complaining about the price.

I found this to be a good affordable option to the Lifeproof case. Overall feels a little thicker especially around the screen. Surprisingly it fits in the Lifeproof belt holder. It Has a place to attach a wrist tether at the bottom left corner which is provided. When placing phone in case, note where the mute switch position and slide phone in switch side first. I think it will last me a year which is how long it took my Lifeproof cases to start coming apart. I bought this because money was tight. No regrets.

The sound is crackly coming from the phone speakers because of the film they use to water proof it, it is noticeable but not a problem because I use my headphones most of the time. Great quality for the low cost, I will definitely order this item again. It is comparable to the 70$ case I had which last me less than a year.

The case is a little bully going from a life proof to this one. But I have dropped it so many times and recently forgot it on my car and drove away and the fall didn’t damage my phone or the case.

perfect for what you pay for...we bought these for a trip south, not to use under water but just to protect our phone if they happen to get wet. I didn't end up using mine at all but my husband has kept his on since our trip! not lifeproof but certainly does the trick!

This exceeded my expectations. I was really worried that the phone case would leak, but I took it into the water in Grand Cayman and it worked like a charm. My only complaint was that the instructions on testing the case are super vague.

Just got it today, but so far, expect for the tab on the side to turn the silence on and off, it does what it should. I did a test in pitcher of water, no water got in. A brown paper towel was perfectly dry.

All in all a very good product. I do find that the sensitivity of the touch screen is compromised a bit by the case, but I suppose that's what you would expect from a product such as this. The sound quality is better than I expected.

Nice case... does the trick. Only issue I have is that the area where the jack for the headphones is isn't very big and only seems to accommodate the small jack base offered on the original iphone headphones.... other headphones jacks can't get into the tiny compartment offered by this case... otherwise great !!

Put the case on my phone which worked well for awhile before rubber pieces at bottom broke off. Now I am unable to remove the case from my phone no matter how hard I try or what I use. Many others have tried to remove it as well without success
