This one tips, our other doesn't
*see update at bottom, added a star*I saw the price yesterday and ordered this chair. Free fast Prime shipping and I actually got it today. I already have a Disney Cars chair that someone gave to my son that we've been using for almost 2 years now. It was a learning curve getting him used to it and not tip over but it has been great. Now I have a daughter (19 months) who fights him for the chair. She sits in the Cars chair no problem. I saw reviews about this one tipping and thought kids just weren't used to the saucer chair and were tipping. Nope.My daughter tips in this almost every single time and she never does in the other chair. I placed them side by side and the princess chair has a noticeably smaller front base and the seat saucer portion is much deeper. So the smaller front plus a deeper seat equals tips every single time. It is made by the same company, Idea Nuova, I checked both tags on each product. I'm not happy. I will probably keep it because she will eventually grow taller and there's no way she'll want to let me take it to return it now that she has it. I'm afraid she will get hurt in it though, she must always be supervised. Also I can't seem to find another girly small saucer chair for under twenty five dollars that is NOT Dora. I figure even if I return it I'll keep shopping for another chair to replace it and either end up with another that costs more and does the same thing OR the dreaded Dora chair... or worse, BOTH.The chair dropped another dollar fifty since I bought it yesterday which irritates me too that I could have paid less. Pattern of the princess picture is cute and has a sparkly pink trim around the edge. Aesthetics and the low price have earned it 2 stars.***update 4/6/14:My daughter is now 3 and tall enough to sit in he chair without immediately falling over. Yay! Still not very stable, and it is more difficult to close than the other chair we have of the same style. It gained back one star because I probably was trying to use it too early for my little girl but it's still just an ok chair.

This chair is very fun for us!
We had one of these for our Chihuahua and adopted another Chihuahua so we had to buy another one. They love these chairs. No dog beds for them. There children.

Smaller than perceived
I bought this for my daughter for her room. She is 2 and has quite long legs for her age. She cannot sit in this chair herself because it is too tall to just sink into. If she tries to climb into it at all, it will just tip over and fall, this has happened on numerous occasions, so I have to help her sit in it and even so she doesn't look very comfortable because her feet just stick straight out. The actual seat is very tiny, like for cradling a 1 year old baby, but even for them I would not recommend this seat due to it easily tipping over. All that being said, the feel and texture of the covering is very well made. Non-detachable however so you cannot remove it for washing. I would recommend going a different route if you are looking for a saucer chair for your little one.

Small but useable
Great for a small child. We bought for 6 yr old but it was too small, so we returned, but good for smaller child maybe 3-5

Be careful of the oversized screw heads on the frame.
18 month old granddaughter uses it for viewing her videos and enjoying a snack. She likes the Princesses on the material. I don’t like the oversized screw heads on the frame that sticks up above the frame on the surface that is near her little legs.

Make sure your child is tall enough for this chair!
We got this chair for my 18 month old, but we quickly realized she's not quite tall enough for it (though she LOVES sitting in it). When she tries to sit in it on her own, it flips forward and hits her in the back of the neck. We are going to hang on to it and give it to her on her second birthday or when she is a bit taller...otherwise, it's not very safe. Make sure you compare the height of the chair to your child's height. If your child's bottom isn't going to be slightly above the seat of the chair while standing, don't buy it, because it may flip forward on them!

which is good for a little one
Purchased this as a gift for my two year old niece. The chair is very small, which is good for a little one, and VERY sturdy! She can plop down on it without fear of tipping it over. Some of these chairs can be very flimsy and will fold up when the kids sit on them, not this one. The material is pretty and velvety soft, and she enjoys having her own furniture when the family is watching t.v. Very satisfied.
