Dragon Touch M7 7-Inch 8 GB Tablet

This Tablet has great specs and a great price. That is the only two things I can say positive about it. I bought two of these tablets in August 2015 for my daughters. On one of them the screen failed after only 45 days. It was not dropped or otherwise abused. Sent it back to Tablet Express (the seller) and they sent me back an older refurbished model (I know that this is standard practice but still it ticks me off). Also the whole exchange took more than 4 weeks to complete as they would not send the replacement tablet before receiving the old one back! Now the other tablet has stopped charging (January 2016) less than 6 months in. Contact Tablet Express and they will not honor the 1-year warranty ("US customer service, tech support and 1 Year defect warranty guarantee 100% satisfaction. Feel free to contact us whenever a question pops up in your head, we are always here to help.") Also the refurbished unit is starting to show the same signs as the one that stopped charging (you have to insert the charging cable a certain way or it will not charge). I bought this tablet mainly for my 3 yr old to play learning apps on and for me to use periodically to browse the internet. For this price this tablet is good, but you get what you pay for. I found it to be too slow for me. It takes a long time to start up for a tablet, downloads are on the slow side and doing too many at once will really slow down functionality, but that is somewhat normal. One of my sons games wouldnt even downloaf the whole content on it even though I left it open for hours to do it. Screen response could also be improved. Often I had to press on the screen a few times to get it to actually respond on what I was trying to do. The header for the browser is way too small, this was one of the biggest annoyances for me. It was too hard to switch browsing windows and even harder to close one tab. I contacted the supplier about the issues I had and was offered a free upgrade to 5.0. However the upgrade process wasn't explained well enough for me to do it. The files were not labeled the same as their video walk through, nor were they even in the same folders. There was also no windows 10 (you have to use your pc to do it) option for their upgrade program. I am well above average with computers and know how to update, root, install etc and I decided that it wasn't worth the time to decipher their process. It is also worth mentioning that they offer a free case, screen protector or pen in exchange for a good review on their products so I question some of the positive reviews.If you need a tablet and are on a strict small budget than this could be the one for you but if you can afford a bit more than I would suggest you find one on sale. I returned mine and spent $30 more to get a better quality one.

I got this tablet the other day at Amazon for $65. Yes if you compare this tablet to an Apple iPad or a Samsung Note or even a Kindle Fire HDX you might not be 100% satisfied but if you're looking for a tablet that cost $65 it's a pretty darn good tablet. The build the tablet is a plastic but it actually feels pretty sturdy compared to other cheap Android tablets. The screen is actually very nice I did not expect it to look that clear so kudos to Dragon Touch. The tablet runs smooth YouTube runs great and Netflix runs great yes it does not run as good as my samsung and 6 edge or my iPad but for the price it runs great. Bluetooth works great and the speakers are loud but they do sound a bit thin and tinny but no deal breaker. Right now I'm really liking this tablet if I can get one good year out of it I will definitely buy another dragon touch tablet Update. Amazon Prime does not work on this tablet anymore unfortunately Amazon Prime does not work on any KitKat operating system which this tablet has so it's not really the tablet's fault or as the operating system but other than that I still like it that wayUpdate. The tablet stopped working after 4 months and is a complete black screen. I am trying to contact the company through email but it says there is no email address right now. I will try calling their customer service on Monday but I fear that warranty is only for 3 months so I'm screwed anyways. Anyway I forgot the tablet after a few days the email function would not work unless I swipe down from the notification screen. My folders I created on my home screen kept disappearing and many apps I tried to download would not work. I was disappointed but still was only $60 tablet so I let it go and it wasn't a deal breaker but for the tablet to break after 4 months especially after I treat it well it disappointing. I will see how tabletexpress help me with my broken tablet and that will end up being my final review for it. Hopefully they will help I don't know I'll give you an update later.
