I just got the hard laptop cover and absolutely love it. It's color is exquisite and true to what you see on screen. even the keyboard color with the same design is beautiful and brightly colored. I will be keeping this company's info if I ever need another case or replacement.

The matte finish, soft touch, with the textured detail makes it feel like a high quality case. It is slightly transparent which adds a beautiful touch, but sacrifices some of the durability because of it. It’s quite flimsy compared to more protective cases, but it will prevent scratches and possibly light dings. I suggest investing in a durable sleeve for protection while using this for more aesthetic purposes. It also doesn’t give that satisfying secure “snap” when applying but it isn’t falling off or anything.The keyboard cover is ... not the best. As you can see one key “Y” is worn out as if already used or had a misprint. doesn’t secure around the keys or anything, isn’t perfectly aligned and doesn’t support backlit keys. Might use it for when typing at home and in light because it does add a nice soft touch and makes typing feel nicer and quieter. Otherwise, I won’t be using it much.Would give it 5 starts only if it was sold as a case without the keyboard cover and if it secured a little tighter! I will be using it for a long time though.

This is a great case, especially for the low price. The material is plastic but slightly rubbery or something, it’s not brittle or slick. It fits perfectly on my laptop. I got the cover with planets on it.If you have trouble with the bottom coming off, which seems to occasionally happen to mine, be sure the back/bottom piece’s top edges are clipped over the bottom of the laptop at the screen hinge area when you put it back on. It clicks into place and it’s kind of hard to figure out at first, but once it’s clicked in it will stay firmly.The keyboard cover is just a sheet of rubber that sits over the keys. Weirdly it stays in place well and I love that my keyboard is protected. I can just pop it off and wash it when needed! I should have gotten one of these keyboard covers a long time ago. Would have saved me a couple of Apple repair fees for spilled drinks and crumbs. (Life with kids, man.)TL;DR Good purchase, very pleased, not given item for free or anything, genuine review. :D

like most of these cases, there are two parts. The bottom part is where your laptop 'sits', the top part clips to the screen. However, I've found that the top part is seriously this and fragile. Laptops are opened and closed quite regularly, and the top barely clips to the screen. The result is that as you lift the laptop screen, you catch the case, which then comes off and the additional stress cracks the corners. The result is that the top part has even less ability to stay attached to the screen and is now almost useless.

I just received this case and while the top is beautiful, the bottom doesn't fit. I triple checked that I ordered the correct case so I'm not really sure why the bottom is barely fitting. Along with it not fitting correctly, its dirty as if its been used before. one of the rubber tabs on the bottom is black and torn up. I need a case so at this point ill just keep it and replace the tab myself.Edit 12/11: customer service contacted me about the review I left and is sending me a new case that isn't dirty. They have been quick at responding to emails and sent a new case almost immediately.Addressing the issue of the case not fitting correctly, they supposedly contacted production and are having the case redesigned. I should be receiving that case in a few months and would say 5 stars then. However, for now, 4 is fair.

I purchased this in October 2020, and today August 2021. This case has held off so well given how badly I've treated it. The case is very hard to take off, so now that it broke a bit on the edge, I can change it to another one. For the price, it is a great case. Very nice texture, color and protects very well. Highly recommend.

So this is my 2nd cover from this brand. My last one was white marble and lasted nearly 3 years though you could see minimal wear and tear. It finally crack bc they are plastic so I got this one. My last bottom piece fit perfectly snug but with this new set, the bottom piece won’t stay on. I’ve only been using the top but such a waste of money.

I love the star design, so when I upgraded my MacBook in Feb 2020 I of course reordered this case. That case lasted about a year until the corners and hinges broke off - a bit disappointing considering I never took the case off and only used the laptop around the house, but understandable. I ordered once more! Unfortunately this one broke only three months later. So, here I am - wondering if it’s worth ordering again just for the design... but ultimately I don’t think it’s worth paying $20 to replace it every few months. Too bad, because I would likely have used this case happily for a long time!
