My six year old has just started getting in to horses and playing with Lori dolls.This is a good quality toy horse (black Irish draught) with real hair to groom (mane and tail). It comes with a trophy, horse sash and certificate. The saddle and horse rug can be removed. Lots of imaginative play with this. My daughter also uses it with her Barbie Chelsea and Disney princess dolls but any 6 inch dolls work well.The box says from ages 3 plus.Great price - highly recommend!

This arrives in an open fronted colour printed (mostly pink as is the whole Lori range) cardboard box which measures approx 24cm x 22cm x 6.5cm.Inside is the Black Irish Draught horse with a saddle pad, saddle, bridle & reins, a red/white/blue horse sash, a cardboard participation certificate , a trophy & photo of a Lori doll sat on the horse.The certificate is in French & dated 2016 - it has a blank space for you to place the horses name (horse arrives without a name on the packaging so you need to make up your own) on it.The mould the body has been made from seems identical to other horses sold by Lori who stand in this pose.It can be stood upright but is quite easy to knock over.If you seat a doll on it with some care, it can remain upright but you'd need to hold both doll & horse to move them whilst playing as she is just balanced there.The horses mane has a plastic strip across it when it arrives which is fixed on each end with thread.If you snip the thread you can slide the stitched plastic down the length of the hair to remove it without risk of cutting it - I'd recommend an adult does this if this is being given to a child.The Black Irish Draught horse has no moving joints so it's pose cannot be changed.This is a lovely little horse..The saddle can be removed, as can the bridle/reins & the horse sash - which arrives off the horse; it's just a ribbon sewn into the right shape.There are no stirrups & the Lori dolls cannot put their feet into a position where they could be placed in stirrups anyway; the dolls just balance on the horse.The mane & tail are nice & thick - they can be brushed & styled easily although the tail is to the floor on arrival so you might choose to trim it (or the mane).A nice addition to the Lori horse family.My favourite bit is the winners trophy.It's plastic & about just under 4.5cm high so useful when playing with most 6-12" dolls.

This is a cute tiny horse for horse enthusiasts, but the bits aren't very accurate.The saddle, as well as the bridle and reins, can be removed.There are no stirrups the dolls just balance on the horse.The mane and tail are substantial and can be combed and dressed. The accoutrements, on the other hand, are magnificent.I like the horse, but I'm not crazy about it. Despite being a firm favourite on the first day, my children quickly lost interest in it.

His is a lovely quality horse and a greet addition to the dolls set. Would recommend .

Great quality. A lot bigger than I thought.

I like this horse but I do not love it. After having received a great Lori doll I was expecting an excellent accessories in the form of this horse. Unfortunately, like all the other plastic horse I have encountered so far, this one has the same issues.This plastic horse is way too rigid and hollow. It has an opening for the mane to be attached through, and this opening is not properly covered up as the mane is too thin to fill it completely. The front bit (fringe) sticks up completely and the feel of the horse itself is not too pleasant.The accessories, however, that arrive with it are good. The saddle has a fabric pad and the bridle, too, can be undone.This is an o'key'ish toy but I was hoping for more, to be honest, even if it cost slightly more.
