Works well, but . . .
Works well, but -- despite being equipped with a120 volt plug -- it requires 240 volts to operate correctly.

I won't even try to demand warranty performance
This is a 220v 20 amp AC device that is shipped with a 110v AC 15 amp AC male plug. You must spend at least $70 at ACE Hardware for (1) a 4-prong 220v male plug, (2) a 3-prong 110v female recepticle and (3) 10 feet of 8 awg four-wire cabling. In addition, if you don't understand household wiring, you must find an electrician or electrically informed person to connect the male plug and female recepticle to opposite ends of the cable. In other words, you're going to spend as much getting this thing connected as you spent buying it.Update: on second use, it burned out. The unit is under warranty, but the seller will not publish what is warranted. This is a fraudulent product sold by a fraudulent seller. I won't even TRY to deal with this seller because, alternately, I have been using a German model (11th letter of the alphabet) for a year without even one problem. There is also a highly rated Chinese model from a company that doesn't spell "secure" correctly.

Don’t expect any customer support and don’t expect to weld Milwaukee Tools batteries.
I bought an expensive power adapter to allow plugging into my 240V 50amp welder outlet. I wanted to repair a Milwaukee Tools battery pack. The welder would not weld at all, it just buzzed. I reached out to the seller for a return authorization but it’s been over a month and haven’t heard back. What I’ve discovered is that the Mickey Mouse welder won’t spot weld whatever Milwaukee uses as conductive strapping. It looks just like nickel but not as soft. When you try welding it, the machine just makes a thump/buzz sound then nothing. You might want to look for a better welder.

Works, but illegally wired. Mostly junk.
This is a 220V unit with a 110V plug attached. You think it works on a regular outlet, but it won't. After changing the plug to match the 220V (208V, in our case) outlet this worked OK. These are mostly junk inside, as seen in several videos, but like they also say in those videos: "you get what you pay for". Just beware you will need to rewire this.
