Great Pricing and Even Greater Performance - Sanus Is a Winner!
This is the second Sanus big screen mounting bracket I've purchased and used in our home. I bought this second one because of my satisfaction with the previous order I placed a few years ago. The device is heavy-duty, easy to install and has been a reliable device for our (now) two large-screen TVs in our home. The unit is low-profile so the TV mounts close the wall, and the tilting feature we wanted (at 10 degrees) is perfect for the new unit we bought since the TV is over the fireplace. Don't need to pull it away from the wall or swivel it...just basic functionality is all we need and it passes that test with ease. Cost is extremely reasonable for hanging the 65" OLED television, while easily handling the TV's weight. Very pleased with the performance...just as Sanus advertises.

A good quality tilting TV mount.
This wall mount arrived well packed and in perfect condition. The mounting plate and piece you attach to the back of your TV are sturdy metal and with a high quality black finish. The installation was straightforward and the mount includes the screws and bolts needed to install it on either a wood stud or masonry wall. Once the mounting plate is installed on the wall, hanging a TV on it is super easy - it clicks into place and can also be easily removed without any further use of tools. This model allows the TV to be tilted slightly up or down. The trade-off of being able to tilt the TV is that it sits a little further from the wall than it would with a non-adjustable mount, but it's not bad with this mount. The overall look is still low profile. A highly recommended product.

which is nice. For whatever reason
I've mounted several TVs over the years and this bracket is definitely one of the easier brackets to install. What makes this bracket easier than some others is the bolt holes that span the entire width of the bracket. This helps in adding flexibility to where you mount the bracket, ensuring you can hit two studs and still maintain positioning for where you are trying to mount the TV. The bracket is much more low-profile than my other Sanus tilting wall mount, which is nice. For whatever reason, the tv looks less obtrusive when its closer to the wall, versus 3+ inches off the wall. The tilting action seems smooth, but lets be real, once you find that perfect angle, you're never going to touch it again. Just one word of advice, tighten up the locking nut on the two brackets before you hang the TV. Not too tight, but snugg enough so that when you set the angle the TV doesn't want to droop back down or settle up (in a more parallel position with the wall). The bracket seems very sturdy and well built. I was able to do a pull-up on the bracket after it was mounted on the wall and it didn't budge (just make sure you're in two studs!). If I had any negative comments to make about this bracket, it would be the lack of leveling screws. Some brackets have the option to level the TV after the fact by tightening screws that are on top of the brackets. This is helpful if the bracket is not perfectly level, or if you are mounting over a fireplace. There tends to be more then just one "level line". You have the mantle (which may or may not be level), the ceiling which may or may not be level, and finally you have true level. (Note**doesn't matter if the Earth is flat or spherical). so the additional of after-the-fact leveling screws would help in maybe splitting the difference to make the whole install look a bit better. I'm still giving the bracket 5 stars because its well built, comes with everything you could need hardware wise, and does everything it says it will do. Kudos to Sanus.

Great Bracket. Needs 2 different kinds of spacers.
Bracket is great easy to install. Not 5 stars cause it needs spacers half the size of the ones it comes with.

Solid single piece mount
This is a great mount for 16" studs. I hung it this weekend and the 26" width gives you some good flexibility with positioning. With 24" studs you may want a slightly wider mount. I used it to hang a 55" Samsung flat screen with VESA 400 mounting holes. I have about 6" range to slide the TV left or right from center with that setup, so was able to position the TV exactly where I wanted to. The included directions were clear and easy to follow, even specifying the proper drill bit to use for pilot holes. Their is a lot of TV mounting hardware included, unfortunately TV's vary so much that the screws I needed were not included. I don't blame Sanus, there's just too many configurations to try and anticipate. I was able to quickly pick up what I needed (M8x45mm) at Lowe's. I recommend looking at your TV instructions for mounting to see what screws you will need ahead of time to be prepared. I debated between this mount and some cheaper high-rated options for a few days, but ultimately I decided that a single steel mounting plate was the safe way to go for a little more money. If you're spending $1k+ on a TV, don't skimp on the details. Having a single mount plate is sturdier, and easier to get level. The two arms that connect to the back of the TV are well designed with a spring loaded safety release at the bottom. I attached them per my TV's instructions and was able to attach the TV on the mounting plate easily. The spring loaded clips snapped right into place. The TV can easily slide side to side still, which is a plus/minus. I would kind of like a set screw to keep my kids from accidentally bumping it to the side once I have the position set. Angle adjustment is pretty easy, there are two screws with knobs you can turn with your hands. You probably want to set those to your anticipated angle at a moderate tension before lifting the TV into place. Reaching behind the TV to adjust the knobs after it's on the wall is a tight squeeze if you have large hands. The TV is so close to the wall that there isn't a lot of room for cables or things behind it. I was able to get a small power strip and my TV only has a single cable that comes out the back horizontally and runs to an HDMI hub, but if you had a bunch of cables to attach after it is on the wall it could be a challenge. Especially if the cables come straight off the back of the TV. You probably want to plug in as much as possible before lifting the TV into place. Once you get everything up it looks great.

Does what I need it to! I had someone else install it for me but it was quick and seemed easy. It hasn’t had any issues and works just as I need it to. This is a decent, basic mount for a great price.

Great qualityAt a great price was about to spend four times as much money on something I did the same thing I’m hanging at 75 inches TV off of this . it was easy to assemble . came with all the screws for any job -concrete -brick - drywall A word of advice set the angle before you hang the TV it’s a little difficult to get at after the TV is on the rail . It’s been two months and not a problem

This was my first wall mount I have ever purchased and installed. It was for a 51" plasma which is quite heavy so I wanted one that was UL listed. I wanted a 1-piece mount so that eliminated many of the cheaper mounts. Based on my stud spacing, I also needed one I could slide the tv over a few inches. This one fit the bill. It is very sturdy and easy to install. Having the straps to release the bottom clips makes it very easy to install and remove the tv rather than having to try to squeeze behind with a screwdriver like many other mounts. The adjustable tilt works well and I don't have to reach behind to use it.

Worked perfectly for my 75" Samsung with VESA 400x400 with lots of room to adjust left and right. Wish it was closer to the wall, ended up being a little more than 2 inchs off. I had to use the plastic standoffs due to my TV having recessed holes even though Samsung sent their own spacers with the tv for the holes, the provided screws were not long enough. Tilts well to reach connections.
