Highly recommend if your adult bearded dragon doesnโt want to eat
My bearded dragon stopped wanting to eat anything else after I mistakenly fed her live crickets after over 3 years old. After that sheโd hardly eat anything and was starting to get concerned and did some research and found out about this stuff. It seems to be working and know at least sheโs getting most of her vitamins and nutrients from this and I also mix a little calcium powder in with it. The only cons is itโs kind of expensive for how little you get and the directions are a bit confusing. Iโll make it easier for you if youโre having trouble with it and mix 6mls of distilled water to 15 scoops of the mix with the tiny portion spoon. Itโs kind of hard to mix in the little cup they give with it and I use a toothpick with the sharp end cut off to mix it really well. If your bearded dragon doesnโt want to open their mouth then put the syringe in the side of their mouth and might have to push a little to get them to open and quickly move it to the front and squeeze like 1ml at a time. Too much and can get in that hole under their tongue and they can aspirate and stress them out. I also got a handful of the bigger 10ml syringes from CVS cuz if they bite down on the tip they will bite it right off lol. I didnโt realize how sharp their tiny teeth are until I started using this. The one that came with it got chewed and broke the first time and had to throw it away. Now it can take a few minutes to feed it all to them but just be patient and squirt a little at a time. I also got some liquid vitamins to help since she wonโt eat her vegetables or fruits hardly anymore. I also recommend not to start feeding your beardie live crickets unless you start when theyโre a juvenile with the rest of their diet. She used to love the canned crickets and grasshoppers and wonโt touch them anymore. She will still eat dead Dubai touches when I get them but now Iโm stuck having to drive 25 mins each way 1-2 times a week to get live crickets. Theyโre expensive and only buy 3 dozen at a time cuz a dozen will die within 3 days and I put cricket food and the water cubes in there with them to drink and eat. Anyways I got off of the original topic quite a bit but I do highly recommend this stuff if your beardie isnโt wanting to eat or loosing weight.

Excellent Nutritional Support โ My Bearded Dragon Loves It!
This supplement has been a fantastic addition to my bearded dragonโs care routine. Itโs easy to mixโjust add waterโand the consistency comes out smooth with no clumps. The directions are very thorough and easy to follow, which I really appreciate, especially for ensuring proper nutrition and hydration. I love that itโs a complete nutritional formula with protein, carbs, fats, vitamins, and minerals, making it perfect for extra energy support or critical care when needed. My bearded dragon took to it right away and clearly enjoys it, which says a lot! The included cup, spoon, and feeding syringe are a great bonus and make feeding simple and mess-free

Saved our leopard gecko ๐ฆ
Our 5 year old leopard gecko Nova was on a very slow decline after our house fire 10 months ago. He stopped using his humid hide and before I knew it I was forcing soaks/steams to help with his stuck sheds. He stopped eating as ravenously and started refusing to drink water even when offered to his face. He dropped so much weight and looked like the crypt keeper. I was at a loss, our beardie Freyja who suffered burns, lost several fingers and the tip of her tail- is now doing great, yet my leopard who was mostly protected was now doing worse. Nova lseemed to lose his will to survive. I remembered reptiboost when I was caring for our old beardie who passed in 2020, it helped her gain back some appetite and she gained some weight before we eventually lost her. I bought some again for Nova. I made up a slurry (did notice hard black flecks others mentioned, just avoided with drawing up slurry in syringe) and offered it to his face. He hates it but I just kept making him lick it off his lips. The first night I was able to get him to have .2cc! I actually cried because previously he would just not even try to lick water or mashed bugs off his lips before (yes- I mashed up bugs for him in my desperation). I was able to get him to have another .2cc the next night and then following days he consumed more and more until he finally started drinking from his water dish and started using his humid hide more! Now- our firecracker is back!! I used this for about 2 weeks, offering it to him 4-6 days a week with doses up to .7cc consumed. He finally looked BAR (bright, alert, responsive) so I offered him his live buggos and he ate!!! ๐ญโฅ๏ธ It took a lot of effort to get to this point and some fine tuning in my husbandry- but Reptiboost made the biggest difference and now hopefully my boy can go on to living his best life and getting his fat tail back. ๐ฅน โโโโ- For anyone who is curious about other changes I made: - changed water dish to a much flatter one. Itโs a mini bottle bubbler with food/water compartments. I also picked bright blue to hopefully draw more attention than the boring black/brown one I had. - new humid cave/hide with ceramic humidity dishes on top. I previously used a small plastic tub with a damp towel inside. I think it got too cold for him. It always worked before but I wanted to upgrade in case this was the issue. I spray the inside of the new cave with water every night to increase humidity. I think the ceramic dishes might make a difference? Itโs hard to tell but I donโt have to refill it often, which tells me itโs not actually evaporating the water fast enough, hence the extra spraying. He loves his new hide though. - added overhead heating and a ramp. I have a heat mat with temperature control, so I know a good 1/4-1/3 of his 40 gallon tank was warm but I wanted to give him an extra boost. He already has a full spectrum light thatโs on for maybe 6 hrs a day, but he doesnโt like how bright it is so I noticed him avoiding it when the light would come on. Despite this, I still added a nano dome with a 25W bulb- warm spot only read 83F, so I swapped for a 40W bulb and added a ramp. It now reads 91F in the warmed spot- perfect! I donโt ever see him bask directly underneath it but I think it adds to a warmer ambient temp. Did any of these make a difference? Iโm sure they did, even though my previous set up worked great for over 4 years- I wanted to rule out any possible issues. I can say for certain that the reptiboost made the biggest difference. Donโt hesitate to give this a try. Even if your reptile hates it, if you can manage to get them to eat a little bit at a time- itโll work!

Smells awful, but the beardie likes it
My 2-year-old bearded dragon, Shuruga, is what you might call picky. Not long ago, he decided to go on a hunger strike. If it was green, he wanted no part of it. And that led to a bit of a skinny lizard. Nobody wants that. After a trip to the vet to confirm that he's not sick, he's just a jerk, I ordered this to try and entice Shuruga to eat. The instructions are TINY. Like name-on-a-grain-of-rice tiny. My near vision is still perfect, but I was still just a step away from the struggle bus. They also aren't the clearest. When I first combined the water and powder in the listed ratio, there wasn't enough liquid to wet all of the powder. Not by any stretch of the imagination. It occurred to me that there might have been an issue with the units of measurement. When I adjusted the water to what I thought was the correct UoM, I was met with what I expected: a viscous, beige sludge. My texture issues went off just looking at it, but hey, anything for my scale puppy, right? And then I inhaled through my nose. You know, most people only get upset when they forget to take their allergy medication. That day, I regretted it. I mean, I realize that this product is mostly ground up bugs. But I was not prepared, and that is not an odor I'm likely to forget any time soon. Regardless, despite rethinking every single decision I've made in life, I soldiered on, did my best to follow the not terribly clear instructions, and brought a syringe full of gross to the lizard. Now, I can't speak to the taste of the product. I don't intend to ever be able to. But I was able to get Shuruga to take roughly half of the first syringe immediately. And he doesn't like taking things from the syringe, so that was a really good sign. When he made it clear that he would rather eat my arm than take anything else from the syringe, I emptied the rest of the contents onto his greens. When I came back to check on him an hour later, the greens bowl was empty, and he had not used his veggies to redecorate his terrarium. Overall, while the instructions are unclear and the product smells like death in old gym shorts, I have to give it 5 stars. Ultimately, with a little extra thinking (or probably research, but I didn't do that) and some mental preparation, it worked exactly as intended. We're on our way to getting Shuruga up to a slightly chonky weight, and he's given up his strike on greens.

Helped my girl on a hunger struck eat again.
My girl Loco got mouth rot, and stopped eating. We treated the mouth rot she still wouldnโt eat. So we started having to force feed as she was dropping weight and her tail was getting too skinny. Iโve always made my own emergency food. This came on my Amazon suggestions. I thought Iโll try it. If it donโt work I didnโt lose too much money. I noticed it has all the things I was adding in my emerg food plus some extras. It was way easier than making my own. Mix a little warm water and feed. They send a tiny scoop and a measuring cut. After 2 days of being force fed this stuff she started hunting the syringe. And striking it like it was prey. After 6 days on this we got her to eat some worms from tongs. A couple more days of that sheโs back to eating and hunting her own food. We add some of this to her bowl cuz she needs to gain weight. If you have a sick reptile or one on a hunger struck her this!! And this is coming from someone thatโs had reptiles for YEARS. The only down fall is the packaging. Itโs powder in a zippy bag in cardboard box. So that cardboard gets smashed in shipping. They should consider packaging it in a plastic jar or something. Thatโs what I did. I put it into a empty jar I had. I taped the cardboard to the jar so we have directions and ingredients. So much easier then making my own. And this girl loved it!!

Good product but horrible packaging again
Unfortunately they don't seem to understand that if you put something that is packaged in a flimsy paper box inside of an envelope it will almost certainly get crushed. While all of the components of the packaging were there, it is a messy disaster for storing for our beardie because of this. The product itself is an excellent source of nutrition for your picky eater who may need a boost to their appetite to get essential nutrients again.

Warm, slow, and steady = WIN
I think this saved my leopard geckoโs life. She was on deathโs door- sunken/closed eyes, lethargic, refusing food, and we canโt get into a reptile vet for three weeks. Out of desperation, I mixed this stuff with leopard gecko powdered soldier fly food, sprinkled in calcium + D3, and water (about half supplement, half soldier fly powder bought on Amazon). I made it into a thin smoothie consistency and offered it by syringe each evening. She took about 0.5ml a night for four nights and now sheโs up to 1ml once a day. We are on day 7. Warming the syringe under hot water when I gave her breaks between each syringe push made all the difference- she started lapping it up willingly. Itโs a slow process and takes patience (about an hour per feeding). I also gave her one warm soak at 85โ90ยฐF for 15 minutes, and she passed stool overnight. The turnaround has been incredible- she shed yesterday, opened her eyes, and is noticeably more alert and active. Weโre still waiting on the vet appointment, but this gave her the strength to hang on and start improving. The smell is egregious and deserves jail time, but I donโt even care at this point because our girl is feeling so much better. If youโre in a bind and your gecko needs support, this product is an absolute lifesaver.

I've got a lively bearded dragon again!
Worked a charm on my Bearded Dragon, she went into brumation for almost a month and a half... She would wake for syringe feeding only and then go back to sleep. She held her weight quite well but was very lethargic after coming out of brumation (awake but would make no effort to move or eat anything). So I tried repta boost and she quickly livened up, almost within a week of consuming daily doses. Now she eats and drinks absolutely fine. And I'm more than confident that it was the repta boost that helped her. Just a week after taking it she also had a full head shedding and she hasn't shed in almost 3 years.

Great product
I used this product when my gecko is sick. It works great and easy to fed in liquid form instead of force feeding my gecko to eat a cricket.

Excellent product
My gecko wasn't eating for quite awhile. I'm not working so I didn't think I could afford a vet. I really didn't know what to do or what was wrong with him. This was the first product I saw online so i ordered it not knowing if it would work. in a couple of days my gecko was eating again after not even having much of the product. I'm glad to know I have this product now in case he stops eating again. Excellent product!

Didnโt work.
Not recommended unless your vet has specifically told you to use it.
