Amazing. Worth its weight in gold.
Awesome aid for artists drawing or sculpting self portraits. I can also envision this being used by all females who put on makeup. Seamless image. I wish I had one of these the past 40 years. I could not believe the difference it made in being able to accurately and efficiently correct errors and complete my self portrait in clay. This mirror needs and deserves to be marketed big time. I'll bet the entrepreneur investors on Shark Tank would go for it if the price point can be reduced for a broader market. All of the artists I showed it to were just as amazed. It is pricey considering it is all plastic, but worth its weight in gold for what it makes possible. I should note that although the whole box and mirrors are made of plastic, it has held up fine in spite of me moving it every day to a clean environment when I am through using it next to my clay sculpture. It holds its adjustment angle just fine - just as clear and seamless as the day I started using it. Experiencing how well it works, I would immediately buy another one if my current one ever gets stolen.

Helped me with make up and hair parting
I finally have a look that is more symmetrical and flattering. I can't do my hair or make it with just this mirror alone due to my unfamiliarity with these angles. BUT It’s a perfect way to mark and use a handy mini mirror to seal the positioning. I love it 💕

What a joke! I cannot believe I fell for such a gimmick.
A novelty gimmick, marketed with grandiose claims and deception. I honestly believe all the good reviews are acting, or are employees. This is a overpriced toy, a novelty like something you would find at Spencers gifts. It is not going to bring you an epiphany, revelations, soul freeing understanding or any of the other overly exaggerated claims that they profess. Its simply a reverse mirror image and that's all it is, it shows you nothing more than a regular mirror does. The only thing it WILL do is possibly give you a complex or worsen any complexes you already have about your body image. If you are very sensitive about your self image, I recommend never looking at yourself in this mirror. It will distort your image in a way that is neither TRUE nor accurate and will only confuse you about your self image. There is a whole litany of science behind why you appear different, eye dominance, optical angle of refraction illusion, psychological and neurological perceptual distortion. A regular mirror is your more accurate image. However, one thing this mirror will teach you is that if you cut your own hair, or do your own makeup you should always double check yourself for symmetry. This can be done with a simple cellphone camera after you flip the image, you don't need this mirror to double check your grooming. Trust the flipped camera image for symmetry and trust your standard mirror for depth as well as dimension. If you are a professional hair dresser, or makeup artist I can maybe see the practical justification for such an expensive tool, but otherwise its an impractical waste of money. This was the worst purchase I ever made, man I feel like a sucker, at least Amazon makes returns easy. They are better off marketing this as a tool to professional beauticians and cutting the crap about the profound spiritual understanding narrative. In todays day and age marketers have really mastered the art of manipulating the psychology of customers and this is a glaring example of marketing manipulation. Don't waste your time.

An amazing magical object locked in a cheap crappy hollow plastic case
If you're not ready to drop $200 on a true mirror but you want to experience seeing yourself as others see you then the closest you're going to get is a webcam or phone camera. A webcam (especially a nice HD one) does a pretty good job at showing you what you really look like but it's not the full experience. There are two problems:stereopsis- The image you see on your computer screen will be 2d whereas this true mirror shows your reflection in 3d. You would need two webcams perfectly aligned at eye width as well as the appropriate software and computer monitor to truly see your 3d true reflection using a webcam.resolution- Because the true mirror has no resolution (other than the wavelength of light that is) you will only be able to see yourself as others truly see you using a mirror like this. I don't care how HD your video is, you lose some of the magic when you're experiencing something through a screen rather than your own two eyes.I've wanted one of these things for years and finally worked up the nerve to drop 200 smackers on it for my dad's birthday present this year. The price tag definitely feels expensive as f*** when you pull this thing out of the box but I didn't pay for the plastic, glass and metal, I paid for the experience and I can tell you the product delivers as promised on that front.I would have given it the full 5 if it didn't feel so cheap and flimsy. The plastic box is not even solid and you can feel the sides flex in when you lift it up. I would have been fully satisfied with my purchase if it had come in a nicer box, even at the cost of a $25-50 price raise. This thing in wood would truly be a magical object that me or my father would keep around a treasure for the rest of time. It might have even become a family heirloom. I cannot see that happening with something that feels so damn cheap when you pick it up. Instead it will probably sooner or later be put away in a closet except maybe for special occasion like kids coming over for the holidays; the black plastic has visible defects from the molding process and is not exactly aesthetically pleasing. Then the case will probably accidentally crack during a move or something and that will be that. I do not regret the purchase, the object might not have felt worth the $200 but the experience was certainly worth every penny.

The quality and price don’t match up
The pricing is way off . This should be like 50 dollars at best. I was sort of shocked at how cheap the material was and how flimsy the whole thing felt.I’ve made the adjustments to it and it is working , however there’s no way to get that line down the middle completely out of sight. So your face is still slightly distorted. Sort of looks like I have my pupil split in two when I look at my right eye.I don’t hate it. It is cool to have, but I wouldn’t have spent 200 dollars on this if I would have seen it in a store in real life first.
