Creative Airwave HD Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with NFC (Charcoal Grey) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I'm a happy camper. The speaker is well designed, solidly constructed and is a good value for the price. I bought a inexpensive Bluetooth plug-in for my lap top computer and it works perfectly. Its very versatile; I mainly use it for Pandora to exercise, meditate and outdoor get togethers.

I read both good and bad reviews and thought I 'd tried it since the bad comments didn't sway me much. I am contemplating sending the unit back. It has very little range. My compute was about 5 ft away and it was losing signal. It isn't very loud either. Then recently it wouldn't sync with my phone. I think I had it about 3 weeks now. Its certainly not worth the price $100.

Within 10 minutes of use, one of the speakers popped. I was testing the volume by increasing it on the speaker. Usually the speakers will begin to distort before they blow out, there was no warning it was getting louder and then - POP. I have requested an exchange. I am hoping it was only a bad unit, I have not read about any similar problems.

If your phones/devices all have NFS (Android, anyone?), then you won't have any problems with this. If you've got a couple iPhones, though, prepare to be opening your settings frequently to disconnect one device and connect another.Sounds is fantastic. Loud for such a small unit. Battery hasn't run out yet, I've charged it a couple times just in case.

I bought the Airwave HD speaker as a compromise - louder sound than the Jambox, but about half the price of the Big Jambox from Jawbone. It will turn the Bluetooth on but often fail to connect the devices)Overall:For the price, not a bad choice. If you're expecting Big Jambox quality sound, you'll be disappointed. But all around, not a bad large Bluetooth speaker.Haven't tried the mic for handsfree calling.

I am very impressed by the performance of this wireless speaker! The sound quality is exactly what I was hoping for in my small office space. The unexpected convenience of being able to use it for phone calls is a bonus! My husband asked me where his was :-)

The product is great but after 6 months, batter ran out after couple of seconds with full charge although I used it for 3 times during this period.I am on the way to check the warranty.

sounds good, especially for a speaker this size. Connection to our Samsung SIII phones was easy worked great. The only thing is that the power light is a little bright for me for having on while I'm going to sleep
