From the moment the responsibly packaged box arrived, I knew I'd stumbled upon a company with quality and good ethics in mind. I ordered one of a similar price a few months ago and was fairly happy with it. This bed is literally world's apart. It just oozes quality. It comes vacuum packed so the box, upon arrival, looks worryingly small. Never fear. Once you open the box you can see how they got it all inside. Simply cut the air tight wrapper and, just like magic, the memory foam base springs to life and starts to grow, just like those magic sponge toys you got in your Christmas stocking. I'm particularly impressed with the quality of the zips on the bed. Sturdy and a decent size. It makes all the difference. The zips open right the way around the base, so you can easily slide the memory foam base inside. The memory foam base cushion is covered with a protector, which also has a zip for easy cleaning and offers good protection. So not only is the bed washable but also the foam protection cover. Simply practical in every way. The bed is super comfy and offers excellent support. I bought the smaller size which is just big enough for my Boston terrier, but in hindsight I probably could have gone up a size. But he's happy enough and his head doesn't hang off the side. Let me be clear - this is an extremely good quality bed, unlike a lot of others I have bought over the years, from Amazon and from the high street pet shops. It seems that the company who make these beds really understand what us pet owners want, in terms of practicality and comfort, for our furry loved ones.

We love this Orthopedic dog bed! We bought it after a recommendation from our daughter, who has a smaller one for her Boston Terrier.The quality is great, it is very well made, easy to remove and replace the cover for washing, and looks good. Fantastic service!Our 12 year old German Shepherd has never had a proper bed like this before, only vet-bed on the floor, so it took her a bit of getting used to. Having read some of the reviews for this bed, we were aware that some people say their dogs don't like the 'crinkle' noise of the waterproof mattress, but this wasn't a problem for our girl, it was more a case of her not being used to the whole bed thing. But just like any new experience, this was very quickly overcome by making things familiar. Placing her vet-bed on top of the bed and encouraging her to use it by giving her a treat every time she went on it, and voila! She now knows it's her bed and loves it!Furthermore we have recently had to change our car, and the new one has an 10cm dip from the boot edge onto the floor of the back of the car. This bed (XL) fits perfectly into the back of the C-Max where it raises the floor level, making it much more comfortable for our girl to jump in. This one now lives in the car and we will be buying another one for the house! Very Happy!

I bought this bed for my 2 year old 40kg labrador retreiver who has hip dysplasia. The XL bed fitted him well.Previously, we have gone for waterproof beds, which had a thick covering and appear indestructable. they unfortunately come with a thin base which can and was ripped by a young exuberant labrador and his ball.We have had this bed for a good 6 months and it has survived everything he has thrown at it: humping, digging, chewing the lot. The material is a nice synthetic fleece which is very comfortable and warm.It does get dirty quite a lot but is so eay to clean. The inital cover unzips revealing the main memory foam matress with a water resistant cover. This cover can also be unzipped and removed if needs be. The surrounding padded rim is secured into the main cover with another zip and can be quickely removed, allowing easy washing. There is also a zip on the removed rim which allows you to remove the stuffing and replace/refresh as needed.We have used in in the car for very long journeys to go camping and we did find that the dogs get a little warm in the back owing to its insulating properties. So thats the only down side I could find and it was a little two big to put elsewhere in the car as it doesnt fold.Highly recommed this bed to anyone.

My GSD has issues and wrecks a lot of his beds so we needed something soft but sturdy. He is also old with joint problems so I needed something comfy and orthopedic but without innards that come out and can be tripped over because he's getting a bit wobbly. So far, all boxes ticked. I've even tried the bed myself and its really very snug and comfy. I like the material, although I use an extra blanket just to keep it as clean as poss. Comes off easy for washing but have yet to see how it washes as we've only had it a week. This is the XL, he's not a huge shepherd but does like to stretch out. I think I'm going to buy a couple more for my other dogs as I'm pretty happy with it so far.

We bought a large size, suitable for our German short haired pointer and she absolutely loves it! Plenty of room for her to loll and roll around, with great support when she lies with her head propped on the edge. Really soft cover which is unbelievably easy to wash! Unzip, machine wash on 30, low temperature tumble dry and ready to put back on in a couple of hours. Mattress is firm foam which is comfortable, supportive and so far has kept its shape. Really recommend this dog bed!
