This is not your typical floss... if you've tried it, you know exactly what I mean.This stuff is made from a material called "pebax multi-ribbed monofilament". Basically, it's a fancy polymer. The reason this is important is because it's not really plastic, it's more rubbery. Because of this, it stretches a bit. Since it stretches, it sort of snaps in and out from between teeth. It feels a little awkward at first, but I've found it actually hurts less when a less-elastic floss snaps in and jams into my gums. It has more give to it, making a softer "landing". Coming out, however, the snaps tend to fling spit and debris, so just be aware to do it slowly. That, or you'll just need to clean your bathroom mirrors more, lol.The monofilament is also "multi-ribbed", meaning it has these little grooves to help rub and dislodge food and plaque. I can actually feel an almost squeaky-clean feeling sometimes as I'm flossing. It feels reassuring to know the surface of my tooth is clean.The packaging, I will say, is a pain to open. Just get a scissor. Don't even bother trying to peel it open. But, the packaging is, supposedly, recyclable. According to the label on it.Lastly, this floss hardly ever breaks! I've been a regular user of Oral-B Pro Glide for some time, and let me tell you... that floss breaks a LOT! It's smooth and nice to use, but I hate how much of it I go through because of breakage. This Listerine floss, I've maybe broken 2-3 times in a roll and a half. Because of the polymer and elasticity, it's just really durable stuff.So, it has a bit of an odd rubber-band feeling to it. But, now that I'm used to it, I actually prefer this floss over other brands, including Oral-B Pro Glide. Between being gentler on my gums, feeling squeaky-clean, and hardly ever breaking, this is my new go-to floss.

Fits close set teeth and doesn’t shred

Because my teeth are tightly spaced, I need thin floss. This floss is thin, so it's easier to insert between my teeth. It also has microscopic grooves along it, which have a good scrubbing action on the teeth. It's slightly elastic, and this eases the pressure on my gums. It's the best floss I've used, and it's well worth the money. But note, because it's thin and slightly elastic, it feels different, and a friend of mind tried it and didn't like it. I say try it.

I dislike waxed floss and this is perfect for me. It tastes really nice, a mild mint flavor. The texture is slightly rough so it really cleans well. I don't know why Walmart and Target both discontinued selling this floss but I love that I can buy all I want on Amazon.

Have used this floss for a long time and have NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED to this day. very strong and thin floss for cleaning teeth.

I’m currently doing invisiline braces and as my teeth are turning, I’m seeing what used to be between teeth surfaces and it’s not pretty. I bought this floss in hopes of it helping these stains and it really has made a difference. No more stains.

Love that it is stretchy and will get in-between all my teeth. I have all my wisdom teeth (32 teeth in all) and finding floss that will not break as my teeth are very close together is not easy. This one does break sometimes but for the most part it doesn't and it's my favorite type.

Easy to use, a bit stretchy and tacky. This makes it easy to grip. It really gets the job done; after using it regularly for six months, I just had the best results at my dental visit in a long time! Almost no plaque, and zero bleeding.
