Cheap and needs mods to work.
No instructions and several loose items. If you can't figure out how this works on your own or not mechanically inclined buy a different brand. I did get mine to work but it took several trips to tractor supply and home depot. This kit should fit the Coleman ct200u-ex motor but might still need some work. I installed it but used the 212cc Predator motor. With the Predator motor the rear orange oil cap needs to be trimmed down to fit this torque converter plate. I also had to cut a notch in the Plate to make room for the part of the frame that hold the chain guard. I also had to buy 3/4" washers to space out the front drive clutch so the two pulleys lined up. I'm guessing this is why so many people said their belts wore out so fast. I aslo had to make my own 1in blocks to raise the motor so the plate would clear the frame. So lots of mods but it did work.Update: this thing does rock. I am 215lbs and it pulled me up some steep hills like a champ. No way would the stock clutch handle that. Has a very small amount of engine brake but nothing major. Still gotta use every bit of rear drum brake I can for steep downhill though.

Works great with minor modifications
5 stars for value for the price. I installed this on a Manco Dingo with a Honda clone engine. It was not a simple bolt on. I had to shave down some of the backside of the aluminum back plate. It comes with the wrong screws for any of the Honda clones. They are course threaded and I needed to buy the fine threaded ones. The cover for it needs to be cut or will interfere with the chain and is pretty flimsy.I would rather deal with those issues and pay half the price of some other sellers. Plus the more expensive ones probably have the same issues. Now that it is installed, it works every bit as good as my original Comet version. Time will tell if it holds up though.Edit: 2 months later and it is still working great. Pulls strong. Even the belt it came with shows no sign of wear. I’ve heard it’s best to buy the original OEM belts but this one looks like it will hold up just fine. Price seems to fluctuate a lot on this. I got it at a great price but would have been fine with paying $20 more.

Great upgrade to Coleman mini bike
Installed on Coleman ct200u. Had to raise engine and get couple bolts from hardware store but pretty easy instal. Made bike go slower at first, then realized throttle had screw limiting it. Remover screw and mini bike went from going 20mph to 40mph. Was not expecting that much increase. My error was this is for 3/4 shaft, mine was actually 5/8. $10 shaft adapter and works great.

Good deal
As everyone has said, if you have a Predator you need a 5/16-24 machine thread bolt for the crankshaft instead of the 20 thread they provide. That’s probably why people claim to have had exploding pulleys, they used the wrong bolt and it failed.I ordered some 5959 belts to replace the wimpy 669 they come with. No problems with belts now.The spacers they provide set the belts just right. No problem with spacing.Came with all the parts in good condition.Overall, decent product for the money. No complaints at all. Makes minibike fast!!

Great setup for my Coleman ct200u
This seemed to be a great little torque converter kit for my Coleman ct200u. I've only been running it for a little while now so time will tell to see how durable it actually is. It appears to be reasonably thick and have some weight to it though. You will definitely need to buy more spaceing washers so that you can properly align the clutch and the drive pulleys. I had to add an extra washer to keep chain clearance proper. Overall though it is a vast Improvement on the stock set up on these bikes. I have much more torque now and top speed is higher as well. The crank bolt that came in this kit did not fit my bike and I had to also purchase a properly threaded grade 8 crankshaft bolt. I had to build one inch engine spacers to raise the engine up and get the proper clearance for this kit. I'm not sure the quality of this belt that's why I only rated at 3 stars. The main thing with these belts though is to make sure that both pulleys are aligned properly otherwise the belts will wear out prematurely. I would definitely recommend upgrading the brakes from stock if you're going to put this kit on your bike.

Doesn’t work at all
Spent about a day installing this due to having to make slight but time consuming modifications to the product for it to even fit (such as grinding about a 16th of an inch off the back plate so the chain wouldn’t be rubbing against it) and because the instructions were a joke and hardly able to tell what’s what because it is actually just a black and white photo copy and by the looks of it was done with a xerox machine from 1989 with the contrast turned to level wtf and the descriptions being a few jumbled words like if they were translated on a phone call while one person had no reception and the other was giving them while operating a jack hammer. This would all be okay-ish if after all that it worked great ..or even worked at all but nope. The belt is so crappy that it doesn’t even turn so yeah…. Sweet device. Thanks to the guy that sold me this turd sandwich, you owe me a day of my life back and about 70bucks the way I see it. ✌️

Runs circles around a centrifugal clutch.
Awesome. So effing rad. Its wickedness has me hella stoked. What more can I say OMG. Put it on my 212 preditor go kart of course with a p27 mikuna and an 18 inch baffled pipe. Its handling about 10hp like it was grown on there. If your still using a centrifugal clutch then do yourself a favor and move out of the way.
