Excellent quality, fit, and finish CRKT owners expect
A very nice quality knife that is razor sharp out of the package. The ergonomics of the grip are well designed and fit nicely in my hand, whether it is full grip or flipping the knife over to use it more precisely (think paint brush strokes). The angle of the blade makes it easier you use more of it while cutting open things like boxes and envelopes. The point is very sharp, precise, and quite nice if you need to notch something out or scrape something.I only omitted the fifth star as part of the rubber inlay on the grip began to peel back on my knife after about a week of continuous wear in my pants pocket. A tiny amount of super glue (TINY) set it back in place and it has not been a problem since. A suggestion to CRKT: glue the grip in place.

Pleasantly surprised
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this knife. While being sort of a "budget" offering it really is quite nice. Right out of the box I was confused as to how to open it (forgot it had the fire safe mechanism) but once I figured that out I was quite pleased at the snap and lock up. No play up or down either. The blade shape/style is obviously not suited for super heavy tasks but is perfect for your normal edc needs. The handle feels wonderful in hand with an ergonomic shape and very nice grippy texture. The pocket clip is reasonably deep carry (not super) but has good retention. I would definitely recommend this knife, especially for the price.

Very good EDC
One of the rubber inserts fell out right away. the Knife is very ergonomic and comfortable. Came razor sharp and keeps a pretty good edge. Easy to sharpen. Good positive lock with no movement and blade is centered well in the handle when folded. CRKT is very good with a reasonable price point on most of their knives.

Extremely hard to open
This is update of my previous review of the CRKY Moxie knife and I am raising my rating to 2 stars on the basis of the quick turnaround on an exchange for my original order. But, unfortunately, my original assessment of the knife itself hasn't changed. In reading the reviews, it seems that buyers either received a CRKT Moxie that was fast and easy to open or was extremely hard to open. Unfortunately, the first knife I received was the latter. I was very disappointed. I loved the weight and feel of the knife, and the fact that it locked closed with the integrated thumb stud to prevent accidental opening. But the OutburstĀ® assisted opening that supposedly deploys the blade fast and easy doesn't work well. On the first knife I received, I needed to push so hard on the button that it hurt and frequently it still wouldn't open unless I used two hands -- which defeats the purpose of this kind of knife. I reluctantly returned it, hoping a replacement would work better. Unfortunately, it was pretty much the same story. I was better able to open it with one hand, but I had to push so hard that I felt it would be dangerous, i.e., I could seriously cut myself if I slipped because I had to apply so much pressure. So I have reluctantly returned the second knife as well. But I would urge readers not to write off CRKT knives. I own two other models, a Shenanigan and an M16, and they're both great -- five stars -- and I am sure I will buy CRKT knives again in the future. Unfortunately, there's just some sort of issue with the Moxie. It is beautifully designed, but simply doesn't perform as advertised.

Sturdy and Razor Sharp
Seems solid, and arrived razor sharp. Fits well in the hand, release button is a bit stiff, but isn't too hard to get used to. 5/5.

Not the best
Pocket clip would not stay tight and I finally let it fall off and threw it away. Self assist is marginal at best.

Fantastic EDC Knife
This knife is one of the best that you will find for the money. Its surprisingly sturdy given its slim size. The colors of the platic and rubber look much better in real life than the picture suggests. The safety thumbstud takes some getting used to, but since most people who get new spring assisted knives play with them a lot once they hold it, that shouldn't be a problem. Only problem that there is that the clip's orientation cannot be changed. I prefer right side, tip-down carry, so it isn't a personal problem albeit others may find this to be a flaw.

Very good auto assist EDC without a lot of $$.
Great quality knife. I got this for my son on his birthday. He's a knife enthusiast. He's collected several Cold Steel and CRKT folders already and I haven't been very impressed yet with the folders. I have a CRKT Onion skinner that is my all time favorite knife in the world. I don't go into deer season without it. There can't be a better skinner. As far as folders go, my favorite has been an older Kershaw Blur S30V. My son's new Moxie has a great assist device, a nice handle, and a good blade for a very low cost. It would be a very good inexpensive EDC, or just another part of your collection.
