GREAT knife. The ONLY firefighter/EMT/SWAT/etc model on Amazon to feature a one-piece, steel glass breaker that doesnt fail!
Purchased for my brother, an aspiring firefighter. He loves it, and I was impressed on opening. I searched long and hard on amazon to find one that didn't have any bad reviews about the glass breaker failing (most are a separate piece of metal or hard plastic which is added to the base of the knife. Some fall off, become smashed by the glass, or don't have the hardness rating required to break the glass, causing a DEATH result in a life-or-death situation. This one is actually the same steel that the middle of the handle is made of and simply extends outward from the grip as one piece). The grip is metal, not plastic, and feels great in the hand. The blade is a bit longer than usual pocket knives (which may cause issue in your state if you worry about that sort of thing) and the tanto-tip is a great alternative to the traditional weak standard. The seatbelt cutter was also tested at the junkyard and verified to work properly.

Fantastic buy.
Ten bucks. I got this as a knife for emergencies, but something that if I drop I won't go chasing after it in the dark. I od not have a lot of money invested in it, and if it works once in an emergency it has paid for itself. Wow did I ever underestimate this knife. It's got heft. The belt clip is sturdy. The grip design will ensure a solid grip. It opens with a push of the piece out the back, or a flick of the knob on the front, or the old fashioned way. Once open it's going to stay that way. The tanto blade tip is an added bonus I did not notice upon purchase. The blade reads that it is a USA design but handmade in China. There is a seat belt cutter and a glass breaker.Like I said, it's for emergencies, so I will put some reflective tape on it and put it in my backpack. Color me impressed.

Good start
I just got this in today, might be a fathers day gift, not sure if I want to pay double shipping on it. The FD logo is cool and it is heavier duty than I imagined and quite large my hand fits nicely on its pummel. The blade is sharp enough to not complain and seration very sharp. The opening mechanism is kind of tight but with a quick flip of pointy finger opens quite quick and fluid like. The thumb flipper is very lame opening the blade half way and sticking but like I said the pointy finger flicker is the way to go, there are two ways to open this knife. Locking seems to be safe and secure and seems trustworthy. Overall for under a ten dollar knife though I paid more since it's brand new and needed shipping on the FD one I gave or give it five stars, it's pretty cool and I would love to get it as a gift so he should like it I'm hoping.

Everyday Pocket Knife
I got this to carry with me 24x7 and I'm very pleased with it so far. It has it scuff marks, which I knew would happen, but other than cosmetic stuff it has been flawless. I use the seatbelt cutter so much more than I thought I would. I don't think I'll get a pocket knife without that inthe future. My dad was a firefighter and this is a useful way to show my respect for that profession. The blade will probably need sharpening more often than a high end knife, but it's not garbage and not a high end knife, so it's a happy medium for me! Very pleased for the money and it feels solid enough to last a long time.

Good knife. Not sturdy. Screws loosen easily.
It's a great knife with cool features. Seatbelt cutter comes extremely sharp, haven't use it though. My concerns come with the screws that keep loosening. I use this knife regularly, mainly for just random things. Never prying anything. The main screw that goes through the blade has come loose many times. I think I tighten it once a month or more. It becomes so loose at times, the blade becomes extremely wobbly. The day before this review, I actually noticed the tiny screws holding the body of the knife together started to loosen quite a bit too. So I had to tighten those.I've own many knives and never had to tighten them. This one is useful and nice design but unfortunately I'm looking to buy a new, more sturdy knife and quite frankly get rid of this knife.

Seat belt cutter is bad (yes, i tested it) recommend just using the ...
**Field Tested** Yes I tested everything. I'm not one for serrated knives but this is just my throw around knife that I leave in in my fire gear. It's cheap so I don't care if I break it or leave it somewhere. Seat belt cutter is bad (yes, i tested it) recommend just using the blade, you'll probably have better luck. Window punch, to my surprise, worked. Just make sure you use it correctly (in the upper corner, and with a full swing). Spring-assist is slow but works. Also the tip came off center and scrapes when closing but you get what you pay for.
