Rite Edge - Assisted Open Firefighter Folding Knife W/Clip, Seatbelt Cutter and Glass Breaker

You get what you pay for with this knife. Bought it for ten dollars and found out why it was so cheap the first few times I used it. The spring action assist and the actual blade work just fine. Everything else left me disheartened. The paint job itself looks wonderful but it scratches way too easily. The screws holding the clip in place stripped out as soon as i tried using it, so make sure you tighten them as best you can ( I put mine in my pocket and one of the screws was gone when i pulled knife out the very first time after that). Finding replacements screws that small is going to be impossible at your local hardware store so know where your specialty thread shop is at ( by thread shop i mean screw threads). The concept of the seat belt cutter is great but that blade dulls so quickly that it's barely usable. Like I said before, it's every bit of a ten dollar knife.

It works and does it's job. My concern is the blade is really brittle since it is not heat treated steel as I exspected. The seat belt cutter isn't as sharp as it should and the window break works, but with excessive force. It works, cuts fire hose well, but beware! Get for what you pay for.

Great for the price! I got one for me and the blue one for my husband who carries it around on a daily basis. Great size, weight, easy to use. Fortunately have not been in a position to need the glass breaker or seatbelt cutter function.

Bought one for my daughter, wife and self. One in each car. Should have a plan B, just in case.

I like this knife. It has 3 items that might help rescue people. I would recommend this to Firefighters/police. I am happy with my purchase

It works as expected. I hope not to use it ever other than the knife but I’m glad I have it in an emergency.

I bought the same knife before at a flee market in Pennsylvania. Then I lost it a couple years later in a hotel in Richmond. I was broken without it. I had to replace it and my new one works just as good as my old one!

Being a firefighter wife I wanted a reliable knife for protection, safety and emergencies. This knife is exactly as described and is very sharp and good quality. I would highly recommend this knife.
