⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars - Amazing quality, third party compatible
Crystal clear performance - switching my whole system to ReolinkThis camera works amazingly well! The 3K video quality is crystal clear - you can see every detail during the day and the night vision is impressive too.The big plus for me is that it works with third party software, which gives me so much more flexibility in how I set up and manage my security system. Not being locked into proprietary software is huge. The camera has performed so well that I'll be doing my entire security system with Reolink products. When one product works this good and gives you the freedom to use it how you want, it's an easy decision to stick with the brand. At $39.99, this is excellent value for the video quality and features you get. Auto tracking works great, setup was straightforward, and it's been rock solid reliable.Highly recommend - this convinced me to go all-in on Reolink.

Excellent ghost watchperson?
This was easy to plug in and get working. I already had the app loaded on my phone, from my 4-cam/8-channel NVR system. Plug this camera in to the network and power it up, set it up. Unplug the network and power, and put it anywhere there is a power receptacle. Instant WiFi cam!Mammy Cam. Got this for Mom. I can watch my 89 year-old Mom from anywhere my phone is. I can see the whole room, or zoom in on the bed. I can see if her eyes are open in the darkened room. (Almost creepy... but now I can know that I might need to check on her comfort.) I could not zoom in and read the light writing inked onto a post-it on a wall 8 feet away. But that may be asking too much? Image is otherwise more than acceptable.PT works from a control-circle showing on the phone screen. (Don't recall whether I tried a 'swipe' in a direction, to do this.) Z works by spreading two fingers that are touching the image on the phone, standard Android zoom. Viewing on the phone offers three resolutions. "Fluent", a middle offering, and the Hi-Def. The highest/finest seems to use phone data, even though it was connected to my home Wifi. Does not bother me, but thought I'd mention it.I also loaded the PC app to my home (gaming) computer. Mouse over the picture, drag left, right, up, down, or scroll the mouse wheel to zoom. Easy. Faster response than the phone. Response seems instantaneous. (Add a second for the phone.) Have not received sound yet, but I know this is a setting somewhere. I believe I left this turned off at set-up, wherever that setting was, as I was worried about feed-back when I was setting it up. Now I want it… I’ll find it… just got a mic, too. More work to do.On both apps, the camara and the NVR seem to register as two different (NVR?) devices.- My NVR 'device' offers me the 3 cams that I currently have it set up to see (a few more are waiting for install), and this camera offers me... this. The NVR can be set up to register and record this camera, also. I just haven't gotten there yet.- This camera will also act as it's own individual NVR device and will record to/ play from it's own memory card (which you provide - up to 256G, was it?), which it seems can also be accessed from the app, when installed. (I don't have a card in mine - yet?) When I get to setting it up on the NVR, it will record to there. It can also record to an FTP server. (My NAS has an FTP server I can run, to make this happen, and 11 TB of storage.)More to try, but so far, very good.

Love these cameras
So for those of you who have trouble getting your cameras to connect to your WiFi, here’s what I did:Initially during setup, you’ll want to use an ethernet cable connected directly to your router.Scan the QR code as instructed on the bottom of your camera using the Reolink app. It’ll then prompt you to select a method for connecting to your network. Choose the wired ethernet connection. Connect your Ethernet cable to your camera, then connect the other end into your router in an ethernet port.Follow the setup instructions.Once it goes to the screen asking you to connect to your wifi, skip this step.It should finish setup and take you to the home page of your Reolink app where you can now view your camera.Select the camera you just setup and click on the gear icon.Select wifi and choose your network. Yes this camera does support both 2.5 ghz and 5G. When prompted, manually enter your wifi network password and click save.Your camera should now be connected to both the Ethernet cable and WiFi. You can go ahead and disconnect the Ethernet cable and your camera should work fine on your wifi network. It may give a false issue with wifi connectivity initially when you disconnect your Ethernet and unplug your power cord. Just move your camera to wherever you want in your house and plug it back in. Give it some time. It might say it’s disconnected. I just clicked on the gear icon and went to wifi then went back to the main screen. Just click on some menu items or something until it reregisters and connects again. It’s a little iffy at first but so far my cameras have been working and connecting fine.Don’t forget to add in your high endurance micro SD card and format it. From here you can play around with the menu options.Mounting them was easy as it comes with a template. Just make sure your mounting plate faces whatever way you want your power cord to hang down from once the camera is locked into the mounting plate. It comes with a long power cord which provides more than enough length to connect how I need it to. The camera quality is pretty good, not great but you do have the option to choose between low, mid and high camera quality while viewing. There is some lag (few milliseconds) when watching the video from my phone and viewing actions live. Some of this can be fixed by adjusting settings within the app (lowering quality, etc). But mostly it’ll be come down to software, your internet connection, location, etc. not a whole lot you can do about that.I don’t like the pan tilt options as much because you can’t fine tune the movement and there’s lag time between when you press the button to rotate and when the camera actually moves. It’s moves a bit too much for my taste. I do not hear any sound when moving the cameras in our home however and that’s with the general noises (refrigerator, fans, etc going in).Sound quality is decent when using the two way audio but there’s definitely better quality out there for cameras in this price range.I like that you can schedule when you’d like to receive alerts for movement, especially since it’s an indoor camera, however I wish this function was more user friendly and we could select the time and dates like you would in a calendar app rather than sliding your finger along a vertical time map.Definitely make sure that they do not directly face up against a wall when viewing because that can alter the appearance when viewing on the phone.I’m still testing them out but I’ll try to remember to update if I notice anything else of importance.

Easy set up, tons of great features and good quality for price
I'm really happy with this item vs the price point. My husband can have a joined account, you can move the camera to get different views of your room, there is audio available so I can talk through it as well as hear what is happening, the lag is very minimal for real time, and it was very easy set up. All in all it took me less than 10 minutes to put together and figure out how to use the device. Where it is currently has very low wifi strength, which is an issue in that section of our house for all of our devices, but I don't notice it causing any major setbacks. The indoor camera was an experiment to see if I could justify buying more from this company and so far I am pleased and am now considering the outdoor variation. I haven't experienced their customer support staffing yet but if it is needed I will absolutely come back to add to the review with how things are handled.

NOT SECURE & NOT FUNCTIONAL
NOT SECURE & NOT FUNCTIONALIve owned these cameras for 3 years and at first I thought they were great until they weren't.The first year I had them, I lived in a place and the setup was fairly straightforward. If you want any videos to save it said you needed a cloud account or micro, s, d, so I bought the micro. Installed it and it didn't work. Then I moved , and I could not set them up with my new network. I called customer service and talked to someone who helped me fix it. It is extremely time consuming and not easy.I then moved again. This time, I called customer service again because I followed all the prompts.I did everything right and I remembered their advice from the last time. To no avail. Customer service was unavailable every time I called.Last part , which is , maybe the worst part , is that if anyone has the reolink app. And comes into your home and logs on to your network then they could see your cameras. So i'm giving the app a terrible review also... My work uses the same cameras , and it's a highly confidential n d a environment. My App somehow synchronized with their cameras. I could see all their cameras in my app. They had a pro security team installed their Reolink and as soon as they found this out , they immediately had to uninstall them and switch them out. Due to the nature of the security brief and all the trouble i've had trying to set them up when I move... Do not buy them! I'm going to get rid of mine and I have now purchased RING cameras four door and throughout the home. They are amazing and took minutes to set up, reolink has taken hours of my life.

Amazing for pets!
I’ve had these for about a week now and upgraded from a simple blink camera. I use one in each of my dogs kennels due to living in an apartment. And these are phenomenal great picture quality, you can hear your voice clearly, schedule recording times, get notifications when they bark or have a lot of movement which is critical for me, love that you can move them just so many features! My 1 annoyance with this camera is it’s not supported with any subscription which I thought it was for some reason so you have to get a high endurance micro sd card. Which are pretty expensive depending on how much storage and footage you want saved. But other than that they are amazing. Easy to use and instal app was pretty easy to navigate.

Great value
Camera is well worth the money. I use the in camera recoding and AI detection. I integrate in home assistant which is flawless but the app works great as well. Bought 2 and now I'm buying 2 more. I went through so many low cost cameras before finding these.
