FastenMaster FMGUT007-10W 7 Inch Gutter Screws, White, 10-Pack

I had several gutter nails pull out of my gutter causing it to begin to pull away from the house. I used this item to replace the nails that had come loose and it worked perfectly. The gutter is now resecured to my home and feels more secure than it was with the standard nails that are normally used. After using this product I am uncertain why it is not the standard item to use instead of the nails. Good product, will buy again if needed elsware on my home.

Would have liked them better if they were Aluminum. There strong and are holding the gutter better than I thought was possible. My concern as stated earlier is, they’re galvanized steel and will at some point rust and show rust streaks on the white gutters. I will be purchasing more.

I replaced aluminum gutter spikes with these and the are rock solid. I would suggest getting a drill to make the hole used the proper size to allow for easy install. Only suggestion I would have is to change the driver hole on the head to a different shape.

I was actually afraid of the quality I might get by ordering these screws online and I was definitely proved wrong. Sturdier than the original screws that were tapped in and not screwed in. Nice clear, sharp screw points. These really did the trick. Heavier than the originals and slightly thicker so I did need to use a drill to get them in, but didn't have to drill new holes. Really pleased!

Gutters around our house were falling off the fascia because the nails previously used came loose due to drying/ageing of wood. I quickly determined how many Gutter Screws would be needed and order from Amazon. They came in a couple of days.I was able to use the existing holes in the gutters and fascia board as these gutter screws are slightly bigger. There were 20 gutter nails that needed replacing. The job only took about an hour. It is very helpful to have an assistant that holds up the gutter while applying the screws.The screws look like they'll last a long time and will be unlikely to fall out as the threads on the screws are substantial. Yes, they are more expensive than the original nails, but were perfect for this repair job.

These are a little bit oversized so they found traction in the existing gutter spike holes. They hold very well. The only issue I had is with the square drive holes rounding out when I needed to apply lot of twisting force to screw them into the sometimes-harder wood on some of the lookout ends/rafter ends or the fascia/sub-fascia. That rounding out was rare but it happened. I tried different square bits to find one that fit tightly into the gutter spike square-drive holes but I never really found a bit that fit as tightly as I wanted. So, I made sure I was at the right height and applying pressure straight down the center of axis. For a few I used a vice-grip pliers on the head to twist them in. The best solution as I see it would be for the manufacturer to change from square drive to star drive. But overall these worked well for me and tightened my 4" gutters up to the fascia nicely. I have purchased more of these and this spring will replace all my spikes with these screws. My house is 60 years old and has had three sets of gutters over its lifetime. Ice and snow pull on the gutters during the winter and the spikes, being driven into existing holes, just don't have the holding power needed. So, these gutter screws have solved that problem for me.

These are great. I have an older home built in the mid-50s. Although the gutters are probably newer, they were starting to sag out from the roof-line and required some much-needed reinforcing. These did the trick without the need for drilling new holes through my gutters or my rafters.
