Ordered this to connect a new PC in a room without wired ethernet to my home network. Installation was instant, and the dongle just works perfectly. Highly recommended, no issues at all in several weeks of use.

worthless piece of junk wont last a year!

Connects at 300Mb/s on 2.4Ghz with 5/5 signal strength and connects at 585Mb/s on 5Ghz with 4/5 signal strength, both modes tested from the same place, on the same floor, two rooms along and one room across with solid brick walls. It works perfectly on 2.4Ghz, but on 5Ghz there can be a few seconds of lag sometimes when opening webpages. No driver required on Windows 10. You may want to also buy a short USB 3.0 cable as it will overlap other USB sockets if plugged straight in. Have not tried using the software to set it up as a repeater, as I have no need for it. I'd highly recommend it if you intend to use it on 2.4Ghz. If you intend to use it on 5Ghz I wouldn't recommend it.

Works perfectly and sturdier than another brand I have had in the past. Slightly bulky so I put it in a USB slot at the back of my PC.

The usb in the product when it came was very loose and not secured it worked for a bit but would always end up disconnecting I then plugged it in one time and it broke and the whole thing got split in 2
