Perfect for Parties, they look like real glass plates.
I purchased these for our very DIY wedding. They look like real glass, they have a very nice sheen to them. We used them as appetizers plates and as dessert plates. Most people were shocked so see that they were plastic. They don't have a flimsy feel which is nice. They added a nice touch to our wedding and I loved that they were disposable because I would have hated doing dishes on my wedding day!

Small, attractive, strong
These are perfectly sized for a piece of cake or appetizers if you are trying to limit the amount people take. If the latter isn't an issue, you should go up a size to the 7".
