Solid feeling, tough design. Very sharp clear image.
I will be using the binoculars for nature watching (not hunting). I am no expert, but these seem to be (10X42) the right strength for a close image without too much unsteadiness--no tripod required. The price was far less than I had expected to pay for this much quality. A strap for the case that comes with it would have been nice. Otherwise, I recommend this product.

High quality binoculars at a reasonable price
I recently purchased 12 x 50 mm Bushnell Engage DX binoculars and have found them to be very high quality. The clarity is great and they do a really good job in low light (the 50 mm lenses help). The 275 ft @1000 yd (83 m @1000 m) Field of Vision is very reasonable - it is easy to pick up flying birds with this wide FOV.My only complaint is that the lens caps do not stay on very well. These lens caps fit "inside" rather than "over" the lens area which does not provide a tight fit. Consequently, the lens caps come off when the binoculars are hanging around my neck and rubbing on my chest / belly.I highly recommend the 12 x 50 mm Bushnell Engage DX binoculars to those that are looking for binoculars in the middle price range.

Wonderful binoculars!
These are the best binoculars we have ever owned! We wear glasses & these work well with our glasses on or off. They collect light even in poor lighting conditions & the field of view is so sharp! They focus easily. I can't find anything wrong with them. They're just amazing!

Pleasantly surprised
Disliked the , doodoo strap for them they slip off and already removed it. Not enough though to diminish from the value . The performance in low light in the woods is astonishing .they work seamlessly with glasses on. The only thing I would.change is the strap and the carry case. But with using a bino pack it's all regardless for me because I use my harness straps to the binos. So like I said . In my case . It's totally irrelevant. Not the lightest binos . But perform like Leupold . Very happy with purchase. Btw vortex can't do low light like these in the diamond back. Get these if you bow hunt in low light. Good luck .

Nice in many ways BUT....
I am an optical designer with 20+ years in this field. I have $1000+ pair like the Alpen Rainier and others from the $100-$400 so I have a good basis for comparing. These are the Engage DX model and are stated on the Bushnell site(Also here on Amazon further down in the description) to have ED glass. So lets get started. Here is the good. They are Sharp both on and off axis. They are un-vignetted. They have reasonable eye relief. They feel like good quality. Here is the bad. They are supposed to be ED glass and should have better than average color correction. This is not the case. The color correction is less than average even for a pair of binoculars that does not have ED glass. This is very sad in a pair this nice in most other ways. On the moon the blue fringing really jumps out at you. I have a pair of Nikons and at 16x they have little to no color both on and off axis. So these binoculars at 12x should have less if they are really ED glass as stated on the Bushnell site. They are also supposed to have a locking right side focus(stated on the Bushnell website) and do NOT. This does not sound like the same pair that is described on their site. So in conclusion the "obvious" color on many bright objects really brings these binoculars down. The Engage (non-DX) model has the ED glass and locking diopter. I verified this for myself. It is also $60 more here on Amazon. IMO it is worth the money.Harry Siebert

High magnifying with low image shaking
I’m very impressed with these binoculars. I’ve been a nature lover, birder, and soccer fan for many years. Had several binoculars over the years, this pair works well, had a great feel and grip, and with12 power brings subject up close without too much image shake. Can’t really have just one binocular for all uses! This pair is perfect for in car or stadium use, also short walks...have a light weight pair for long hikes and carries. The cost of these Bushnell Engage units is remarkably low and they compete with much higher priced glasses!

Not bright or strong.. nice design
If I had purchased for myself I would return. Not strong enough or bright enough. I DO NOT wear or need glasses. Nice presentation. My husband seems to like them though?! Not sure if he’s being kind..?
