Citizen Men's AV3006-09E The Signature Collection Eco-Drive Moon Phase Flyback Chronograph Watch

I bought this watch in January 2014, and now 5 years later it is still as gorgeous as the day I got it. Time is still accurate, battery still charges from normal / outdoor wear. Scratches to the bezel and sides from normal wear don't really show, and the band is still comfortable and nice looking. The glass watch face seems to be very scratch resistant as there aren't any, and I don't take any sort of special precaution with my watches. I just wear them. I own this and one other Citizen that I trade off every few days, so this watch has been worn pretty much every other day for 5 years and still looks amazing. I love the design, the moon phase indicator, the stopwatch is very simple to use, and it's easy swapping the date when needed. I honestly think it's the best "classic" design watch I've ever seen.

This is one of the most beautiful watches I own. It's a bargain and looks far more expensive than it is. The Citizen Eco-drive system will make this watch care-free forever yet it looks like a fine Swiss mechanical timepiece that needs to be put on a watch winder. The rose gold deployant clasp is one of the selling features of the watch. Just look at it in the dark when the luminescence is on display and you'll love it even more. At dinner, a friend was admiring it and asked if I would tell him the cost. When I did, he turned to his wife and said, "Get me one for my birthday". I bought mine for myself for my birthday. Treat yourself - you deserve it.

The watch is beautiful and runs great as expected from a citizen watch. However, the watch arrived without an instruction manual or an inter active DVD for setting the watch. I had to go to the Citizen web site and download a PDF copy of the 44 page book. My printer ink instead of theirs. Called Amazon, they suggested I call Prinston Watches, the source of the watch. Called them but they could find no record of the order. Finally I called Citizen watches directly. These folks were very helpful. They are sending the needed documentation to me.Price: after the purchase, I was on board a Royal Carribbian cruse ship. There was my watch for sale $125.00 less. Oh well! Royal is the only place I saw the watch. I checked some of the island stores with no success. So if your not on a RC cruise, Amazon may be your best bet.As I said the watch is beautiful, runs like a Citizen watch should. I have two other Citizen watches and they all have been perfect. One is over seven years old running on the Eco Drive system with no problems and no battery changes.

That exact same thing has happened to me several times. The first time it came off, the crystal cracked. I was grilling on the patio and the buckle caught on the corner of the grill. My hand was in a downward motion and slung the watch right off and on to the concrete.Several cusswords later I settled down and resigned to have it replaced (I assumed it was my fault and not the poor design). A few other times I was lucky and just got away with having to put the watch back on my wrist, but after several drops I deduced the band design is very poor. The last time the watch came off I was on tile. This time the crystal cracked again in several places. You are totally correct about the band being very poorly designed, but on top of the design the little strap that goes around the band for holding the end has pulled apart where apparently it was glued. I've tried several jewelers and their advice is to mail it back to Citizen for repair, but one I really didn't pay almost $1000 to mail my watch off this quickly and secondly from their site the cost would or could be around several hundred dollars more. I am fighting with just buying a different brand or getting it fixed. The watch itself keeps time within around 5 seconds a month and is rather attractive. I don't know.

I was going to purchase this watch as I have owned the Citizen Eco Skyhawk AT for several years and I really like it.Please note that the Moon Phase Function it totally manual and as days go bye it will not match the Moon Phases and you will have to manually Sync it again.You would think that since some of the Citizen Eco Watches keep their time right on the nose through a radio signal, they could have kept the Moon Phase Synced as well.The watch is beautiful but Citizen really missed the bough especially for what the price is.

Very nice and attractive watch. The band is awful and I have already replaced it. The band is poorly designed and can get caught on something and easily become undone, falling off your wrist (this happened to me). Very disappointed in the band design.

tengo varios relojes e incluso algunos ecodrive pero este modelo en especifico es uno que he querido desde hace varios años. la calidad de la carátula, su diseño con las fases lunares, los colores y los detalles que de verdad lo hacen parecer un reloj del orden de los 3 a 5k. es de verdad una pieza maestra. como es de la línea Signature Collection viene en una caja más grande que las normales y tiene 5 años de garantía (según dice el panfleto de garantía, válida en USA y México). El cristal es de safiro por lo que en teoría será dificil que se tenga rayones y la cuera es de cocodrilo original. aunque es correa, se pone fácil en la muñeca ya que tiene cierre de presión.el precio en amazon es el mejor que podrás encontrar, en otros sitios ronda los 32mil pesos (octubre 2018)como es ecodrive no necesita cambiarse la pila, solo asegurate que le de la luz regularmente para que no se agote la pila.este reloj te avisa cuando se está quedando sin batería al mover el segundero de 2 en 2el calendario no es perpetual, eso es lo unico malo en un finalen resumen: precioso reloj, llamativo, lindo, bonito, excelentes colores, calidad y funcionamiento para quienes saben reconocer una pieza de verdad digna de lucir.
