Van Heusen Men's Pinpoint Stripe

I have worn this shirt as a dress shirt with a navy blue blazer and that's a great combination. I've also worn it as casual shirt with blue jeans. This versatile shirt is well made, launders well, and is true to size. I usually have problems with the sleeves not being long enough because I'm 6'3 but this shirt's sleeves are just right for me. The cut allows for a good fit and is not tight across my slightly too large belly. I've had this shirt over a year now, have worn it a dozen times or more, machine washed and dried it as many. It has held up just fine and looks as good as the day I unpacked it from the box. A great value in a very hard to find category.

It's a pretty good, inexpensive casual or business casual shirt. Basic with few extras but pretty good. It fits as expected and is comfortable but there are some minor finish issues and it lacks what other shirts in this range have. For example, it has no side pleats in back and doesn't have a box pleat below the yoke. It also doesn't have a hanging loop but I don't care about that. If you do you'll be disappointed. So the back is a plain back which is not a problem for me but for some, who wear this to work and want a more finished look it may be an issue. If you're wearing it under a coat no problem of course but you'll have to take it off sometime :-D The right cuff buttons are just a tad off so the cuff hem doesn't match exactly. This is only noticeable to me and only because I seem to have a habit of messing with them. So it isn't visible but can be felt. Also, there are lots of loose threads from production that aren't removed so be ready to give the shirt a quick going over when you get it. Most of them were simply loose pieces and pulled right out, but a couple of the buttons had to have the threads trimmed. Not a big deal. I'd give it 5 stars but for the few little issues I mention. Overall a solid shirt (pardon the pun) and a great standby for any traditional guy's closet.

This shirt looks good on you, especially if you look like Brad Pitt. If not, you will look as you with a nice shirt on. Supposedly it is wrinkle free, but after washing it it will have lots of wrinkles, easily removable using an iron. Some people complained that their shirt had bad stitches, but the one I received was spotless, all stitches firm and holding their position. Probably mine was made on their payday... The color is exactly as shown in the picture. I like it and probably I will purchase another one.

I needed a semi-dressy oxford cloth shirt that I could wear with a tie to church on Sunday, as well as without a tie for general "business casual" use. I have had good luck with this brand in the past, and with Amazon's guarantees and ability to return if unsatisfied, I decided to give it a try. This is a VERY nice shirt. Irons up very well, and it's well constructed to take a tie-- or NO tie. The buttons are top quality, well sewn, and the fit was exactly as expected. I liked this shirt so much that after a month I just ordered a second one.

I would buy this shirt again! It is crisp, lightweight without being cheap feeling. Two observations: It most dfeinitely needs to be ironed after coming out of the dryer and the sleeves are rather tight at the cuff and difficult to roll up.

17.5" x 34-35" is my go-to order size. I unfortunately waited too long to try this shirt on and when I did, it felt well made. However, the shoulder-to-shoulder width was too narrow, resulting in an effective sleeve length of ~32". I gave the shirt away to our church clothes pantry, with a note about the narrow shoulder-to-shoulder width.

The shirt is far too big for a regular fit. The shoulder width is fine, but the sleeves are about double what they should be in width and the chest and waist is huge. Once worn it looks very baggy and untidy with excess waist, chest and sleeve width. I can't wear it without looking ridiculous. It is a shame as the colour, pattern and fabric are excellent.
