My wife and I have watched the Troll Hunter's series through 5 times. There are several books straight out of the series. This is one of them that is quoted directly. The illustrations are partly taken from the series, and partly the basis of the series. I love how drawn illustrations are turned into the photos that are shown of characters in the series, instead of just using images of the 3D models from the films.

A very fun and entertaining read for all ages. The story is not just a rehash of they show, it's an entirely different story line that complements the show. Enjoyed it very much, would read again, and will continue to read the books to come.

My son loved the book

Our kids continue to love this book series and the parents continue to love reading it to them! These stories feel like actual episodes from the show which keeps us busy until new episodes are available (hopefully). This story does a nice job of tying into parts of the show mythology like the book of ga-huel but adding new details. Plus you get to meet past troll hunters that we've never seen before on the show! Highly recommend.
