Within hours of submitting the review below BTF-Lighting contacted me to apologise for the issue and offered me a full refund. They also advised they were feeding back my comments and findings to their technical department to get it sorted for the future.original review "There was some confusion on receipt because the packaging is entirely different than the reel shown on the Amazon website. At first I thought it was a strip of LED lights, and it was only on opening the sealed package that it was clear that it was the twin core wire.I measured the diameter of the wire with a digital micrometer and then worked out the area and looked it up on the AWG wire gauge data sheet and its much closer to 22AWG than 18AWG which is what it is advertised as."

Good quality cable it seems. Easy to handle and fit into RGBW controllers with suitable colour coded wiring; black, red, blue, green, white.Too thick for the quick click 5 core LED kit fittings - the cable is too much of a squash and I suspect I'll be spending hours looking for short circuits if I use them.Maybe I'm just fat fingered.

Came well packed and on a roll. Nice and flexible, feels like it is a Silicon coating. Was easy to strip.Now the iffy part I measured the diameter of the conductor and its nearer to 20 AWG (0.8mm) so just be aware that its current rating may not be what you want.

Good quality cable.

It's not 18awg. It's like half the thickness of normal 18awg. It's more comparable to 20-22awg. Completely unsafe to falsely label this.

Complete fabrication of spec. The diameter of the wire is 0.65mm which equates to 22 AWG not 18 AWGI have zero faith in this product and will be returning.

What was sent is different from the picture above. It is not on a roll.I am a bit disappointed.

Needed cable to manage my wiring and with a consistent set of colours, so this was almost ideal.Only setback was the gauge of the wire was 18awg instead of 22awg

Ottimo cavo 5 pin RGBW utilizzato per collegamento di strip led. L'ho utilizzato facendo giunzioni con saldature a stagno. Attenzione, i connettori rapidi clip-on per giunzione strip-cavo non credo vadano bene in quanto la sezione dei singoli fili è piuttosto grande (più grande del corrispettivo RGB 4 pin)
