Needed to blackout a couple velux windows to use in baby’s room at home but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Considered making my own but thought I’d give these a go first.Am happy with the quality - the material feels heavy duty & the blinds are well made. Have been pleasantly surprised by the ease of fitting/removing on a daily basis, although I do find the suction cups need to be dampened to stay on the window for any length of time.The thermal lining is also pretty good at reflecting the sunshine, so the room is kept cool & dark.I would buy these blackout blinds again & a magnetic attachment option would be good, to make it easier for daily use at home.

I needed a cheap, quick fix for an upstairs room converted to an office, without spending ££££ on proper velux blinds. This blind is good, not great or a fixture you will be proudly showing off to friends!I needed a blind for a GGL-7 velux window, so bought the nearest size 30x45 and made a little fold at the bottom of the blind using pins. I knew I was buying something that didn’t fit exactly so no complaints in that respect. Someone with more time/patience/needle skill could have adapted it better than me without a gap at the bottom.The colour is very nice (red/wine) and material feels good quality/thickness. I’m having mixed results with the suction cups, some seem to stick so hard it takes huge force to reposition, one or two lose suction sometimes. Seems to block out the light pretty well (not perfect for me, again as I knew it would not be a perfect fit and I have not done a great job amending the size).It will do me for a while, and sure beats having an old bed sheet hanging up in the background of my Zoom calls!

I applied this to a ceiling sun roof. During the first day (26c heat) it fell off. The suction cup connections to the matt were hot and soft. I fixed it by tightly winding garden string around the connection to form a grip. You may not encounter this problem if applying to a window that is not directly sun facing.

As someone who is photo sensitive in the extreme I have a very hard job of doing make up in the mornings and my room faces into the rising sun.This blind placed wherever I need it to take away the searing light of the sun works very well. I then have light coming in around the blind to get on with what I am doing.I also use it to shield my computer screen from the sun pouring onto the monitor and blocking out what I am trying to look at.It sticks perfectly to the window, never ever falls off - I have been using it for a while now and I would not be without it. It has become part of my essential daily kit.If you needed to block out an entire window it would work really well and to be able to get it in so many different sizes is a bonus.I love it.

Does the job as described, folds up neatly and can be stored away. Only downside is that during winter there is condensation on the window (I think the silver side of the blind acts as an insulator) meaning that the blind is wet when we take it down in a morning. This isn’t necessarily a problem as it then gets laid out on the bed and by time it needs to be put up again it is dry.

These will do the job you need them for the only messing around you may get is the suckers have to be pressed though the holes and these stick so well that most of the time you have to do this job every time you move them a bit hard when you have disabled hands but otherwise fine

Suctions delivered bent. Out of 13 suctions, only 2 are useable.The fabric blinds themselves are of a good quality however I cannot use the product in the absence of reliable, functioning suctions.Greatime however replaced the suctions. Very good customer service.
