Tremendous value and quality for the price, Awesome urban-friendly design
Let me clear about something from the start. I am reviewing a 33 something dollar knife. Find me a Benchmade or Zero Tolerance knife in this price range, and we'll talk. Second, I am a knife user, not a collector (although my wife may beg to differ on that one!). I appreciate good design and good quality. And for 33 bucks, I'll be quite happy if it has those two! I'll leave the perfect tolerances and perfect looks for a higher priced knife, all I expect for this price is for it to WORK WELL and not break. With all of that said, this is hands down my favorite knife, and the one I carry every day. I have carried various benchmade and spyderco knives every day for years, but I recently moved to a country that does not permit any knives longer than 2" (and even then, the police officer is free to interpret the law in just about any manner he sees fit). So I had to put my benchmades into storage and go looking for some new EDC knives that would be legal. In short, THIS. IS. IT. The design is brilliant, best SMALL folder that I've ever found to still be useful in it's assigned job of replacing my full size folder. I'm not going to talk bad about a small Swiss Army style folder, they are very useful and in fact I carry a tiny little Leatherman PS4 for just those uses... but it can't REPLACE a full size benchmade. This boker Subcom Titan almost does. I'd still prefer my benchmade, given the choice.... but if you live anywhere with restrictive knife laws, like I do, THEN THIS IS THE ALTERNATIVE OPTION THAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!This knife is rock solid in the hand and gives you tremendous control while cutting with it. Although short, it's got a very wide handle that fills and normal sized hand. It doesn't feel like a small knife. The blade is wide and sturdy, but tapers down to a very thin and wickedly sharp edge (for a 30 dollar knife). The thin blade makes it very useful for light food prep, plastic or wood shaving, or anything else that needs very precise cutting. The point is excellent and robust, I've used it as a tool to punch holes in mid grade plastic drain pipes without damaging it.I have also tried other Boker Plus Subcom knives, and this is the only one that I liked. The other models all have a plastic thumb stud that is shaped long and flat. If you apply horizontal pressure outwards on the blade stud, the blade comes right out. BUT because these knives are so small, they way they nestle into my hand I am applying most of my pressure in a forward direction to open the blade, and in that direction my thumb slides right off the plastic stud included in the other knives. This titanium version has the standard universal round metal stud, and it works PERFECTLY. I have no trouble at all getting the knife open.It seems that this knife has lower reviews than the other Subcoms because collectors read "Titanium", buy it, and then complain that its a 30 dollar knife. If you want to know why this knife is so awesome, read the reviews for the other Subcom models, then come back here and buy this one. A better thumb stud, better blade steel (compared to some models), this one is a winner and hands down my favorite knife that I currently use. If it ever got lost, I would replace it with the same thing in a heartbeat.

Small EDC
There are a lot of pluses to this knife but there are a few cons that i wasnt expecting.Pros:Small, light, fast flick. Strong lock up and the blade was nice and sharp out of box. Fits in the coin pocket beautifully! The grip is surprisingly full for such a small knife.Cons:The scales are milled Titanium which means that if you have it in your jeans, what i wear, in a normal pocket those scales will scratch your hand inisde your pocket. I cant have it in this pocket because it is so uncomfortable to have it rub up against my hand, but luckily fits in the coin pocket! The other con i wasnt expecting is the thumb stud for the left side gets stuck on my pocket and becomes a struggle to aim the clip right to actually get it in my pocket.I understand its suppose to be a money clip but it would be great if it was more functional so i can use it as a pocket clip without the issue. But nothing that will make the knife terrible. The last thing it really get dirty quick because its a finger print magnet. But the knife is worth it cause im in areas where carrying around a 4inch knife is kind of frowned upon/ scary.

BEST KNIFE VALUE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!
Received this beautiful compact Boker knife two weeks ago and I was immediately impressed by the elegant packaging (this knife would make a great gift for the guy who has everything). The size is compact and seems small but is durable and strong beyond belief. I wear it everyday as a hidden utility knife as well as backup protection. The knife is razor sharp and it would be a terror in a survival fight since it is easy to control and manipulate. Like any concealed weapon, the best one to have is the one you can wear comfortably without impeding your day to day functions. All the big knives and big guns are useless if they are home or in a gun safe when trouble arises. This little titanium gem is always ready and waiting whatever the need be. Will definitely buy more of these. Oh, for that Spyderco promoter(check other reviews for the Boker ( who thought the Spyderco titaniums are a better knife? Check out their size and price. This knife is as nice or nicer for $33 including prime shipping; Spyderco Titanium cost between $150 and $300. NO CONTEST, definitely recommend buying the BOKER titanium.

Incredibly Disappointed with Amazon
Alright. First off, the knife is actually quite wonderful. It's light, sleek and comes pretty sharp out of the box. That being said, THIS IS NOT A FRAME LOCK! AMAZON IS LYING! The knife is a slip-joint lock. They shipped me a subcom 42, not the actual subcom. It's possible I'm an isolated incident but goodness me I'm disappointed with this.
