Is this board closed grain?

Hello, Closed grain. Thanks! John Boos and Co

Could I fit a 13" diameter glass cloche in the juice well?

No, the block itself is 12 inches. A cloche of 13 inches will cover the entire block. A cloche of about 10 and 1/2 inches will fit in the juice well.
