I was skeptical about these at first since I had seen so many bad reviews about vacuum seal bags in general. I went with these ones because they seemed to have the best reviews and be the most durable, and I think there is also a lifetime warranty. So far, I am really loving these storage bags. I don't have a lot of space in my home, but after using these bags I opened up a few large shelves. When they say that these bags save you a ton of space, they really do--for the most part. If you use them on things like pillows or comforters, they make a HUGE difference. I put a couple large pillows in one of the large bags, and they are now maybe about half an inch thick. However, with materials that are already pretty dense, the difference is less dramatic. It still does save space. Just much less, since there is not much air to take out of it. I found that when I used a vacuum, it did not get all of the air out. The thing that did actually seem to get all of the air out was the travel pump, impressively. I found that since the hand pump took a while for larger bags, the best way to do it was to use a vacuum to get the majority of air out and then use the travel pump to get the last remnants out. As far as bags reinflating, I have not had too much trouble. The first bag I used somehow got a small tear, I'm not sure how. I put some packaging tape on it though and it did seal after that. Otherwise, they stay sealed as long as you follow the instructions. I filled one bag past the point where it said to stop, and that bag did refill with air shortly after. After 3 weeks, so far so good. I used the small bags a couple weeks ago on my carry-on when I traveled out-of-state. I was pretty happy with the amount of space that I saved. I fit about 6 shirts, two dresses dress, two pairs of shorts, a couple pairs of jeans, socks and undergarments for 7 days into two small sized bags. Since the bags get pretty hard once sealed, I did my best to fit my other things into the edges of the suitcase. On the way back I didn't want to use my snow boots through the airport and managed to pack those in as well (it would not have fit the exact measurement for carry-ons with the boots included, but the airport didn't seem to care). On the way back, I used the travel pump and it did not take me long to get the clothes sealed again. One thing to take not of though is that when I unpacked, all of my clothes were wrinkled. I tried to dewrinkle them by hanging them next to the shower, but if you have enough space packing a steamer would probably be helpful. Overall, they work pretty great and I am very glad that I invested in them.

Exactly what I needed!! I love that these bags come in several sizes! I was able to safely store all of my winter sweaters, sweatshirts and sweatpants in one under the bed storage container. I also had the idea to store all of my family's hats, mittens, gloves and scarves this way so that they all stay together and will be easy to find come winter time. The seal and air retention are great!! We used a vacuum to suck the air out, which worked out great. I also love that you can easily tell what's stored in each one. You could also store extra blankets in them; or, if you needed to bring your own towels to a summer rental, it would be a great way to save packing space! Highly recommend these bags!!

Definitely a room saver. The blue plastic clips fall off, easily, they should improve this. 2 of my bags leaked after vacuum sealing, repeatedly.

I used these the minute they arrived on time. The jumbos are huge so I used the large and medium. The smalls went quick so I ordered more for sheets, a bunch of pillowcases and throw blankets. It was easy to use the Dyson to suck out the air. Then I used the pump to get all the air out. Now everything takes up a quarter of the space. I love these so much. I got the variety pack and it was a great value to start as a beginner pack. They are thick and didn’t leak at all. They appear as described. The small bag is shown in my photo.

I bought these to replace my Space Bags (now owned by Ziploc) because most of my Space Bags quickly and easily cracked and leaked.* I only have one complaint about this product: The bags are not marked as what size they are, so if you are looking for a certain size you have to stop and measure it to know which one it is (unless you're really good at eyeballing size, which most people are not). This doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you buy all the sizes they carry and have to find the size you want in a box full of different sizes, it would be a lot more convenient if they were marked. I used these to pack up emergency GO BAGS for each family member and the dog, with blankets, pillows, clothing, meds, food, and other essentials. This way all essentials are packed and ready to go in case of an earthquake or tsunami (very possible where I live), and they are all stored compactly with no worries about bugs, mold and mildew while in storage. And of course these bags will be just as useful for basic storage or travel. Highly recommended. But, if I find they leak over time or crack easily while being handled (like the Space Bag brand often do), then I'll come back here and update my review. ~~~ * I think these Space Saver bags are thicker and a little more pliable and so don't expect them to crack and leak like Space Bags do, but I realize this is difficult because any bag of this kind must be made of stiff plastic in order to hold in air and lock out moisture. Bags that are too soft and pliable cannot hold in air and block out moisture due to the way plastic is made. And the softer the bag the more chance there will be a chemical reaction with the contents, which can cause a yellow or green caustic film to attach to anything inside the bag. It's all pretty complicated, but having worked in an industry that used plastic storage bags regularly, I learned these things. So, my experience tells me this product should hold up much better than Space Bags brand by Ziploc. One last note - if you're going to store something of high value I would make sure it is first wrapped in a protective covering that is not made of plastic. I suggest a cotton sheet or plain acid-free paper. This will insure no chemicals from the plastic will leach out onto the item over time. If you have questions about possible chemicals in the plastic I suggest you write to Spacesaver Corporation and ask about it.

I ordered the space saver vacuum storage bags after a friend told me about them. I purchased a box with a variety of sizes and a box of jumbos since I had a several different sizes of cushions for our patio chairs. The day I received them I started reorganizing my spare closet and packing away all the lawn & patio cushions! I shrunk comforters, blankets, pillows, & cushions. Everything seasonal that I could space save I shrunk! The only problem I had was with one of our large wicker chair cushions. I initially had the back cushion & a decorator pillow in the jumbo bag. I had two of the exact sets in two bags & both inflated after 24 hours. So I took the decorator pillows out & just shrunk the chair cushion - making sure that the cushion was not over the stop line. One of the cushions stayed shrunk - the other did not. So I tried again on the bag that inflated - it still didn't stay shrunk. So next I tried a new bag & it worked fine - after several weeks my closet is still organized & stacked neatly with lots of room to spare! I got an email from the seller (a couple of days after my order was received) asking how I liked the product & I mentioned that I had a problem with one of the bags. They said they would replace the defective bag and in a few days I had a new box of 2 jumbos. I didn't even have to send the defective bag back! That is amazing!!!! The product is easy to use. My vacuum cleaner is a standard upright. The cushions shrank a lot and now I can store some of them under the bed where before they wouldn't fit. I'm planning on using the remaining bags for my sweaters after the winter season is over - so my clothes closet will be the next one to get the shrink treatment. What a great product & and even greater service - High Five for sure!!! I'll definitely order from this company again & again!!!!

Worked great for shipping sweatshirts. It squished them down so I could ship a smaller box. Also works great for compacting stuff in a suitcase. They stay sealed for a long time: until I opened them.

I really really really like these bags when they work.... but the fact of the matter is they dont always hold the vacuum sealed form. I recently used these to move, saved a TON of room in teh moving truck. I had been slowly packing them up over a few weeks before the move and putting them in the closet until it was time. They were super easy to use, seemed to be of good quality and really saved the space I needed. The problem was about a week or so after I packed them and vacuumed sealed them, they began to re-expand to the original size. I tried on multiple occasions to reseal the entire bag from scratch, but every time... it lost the seal. They do stand by their lifetime guarantee and I reached out to them for new bags which they sent quickly, but over the next few weeks the other bags lost their seal one by one. Defeats the purpose, right? Yes... yes it does. I will likely reach out soon for new ones again, but I have a hard time just throwing away a ton of plastic like this. Im no super recycle freak, but I dont like to waste things and I dont like to throw more useless things in the garbage dumps. Pros: -Great space saver -Different sizes for everything you could need -Great for moving -Easy to use -Great lifetime guarantee and service Cons: -Dont hold their seal and expand -Tons of plastic to throw away if you do require new ones from the lifetime warranty Overall, I really want to lose these things because they do what they are supposed to in the beginning but can just expand on you and lose all their value pretty quickly, even if you reseal and ensure no leaks over and over again. 3 stars because sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. Good potential for this product, needs more work

Great. I found it more than i expected

Lot de 12 sacs de rangement 4 formats et 3 sacs par format avec une pompe manuelle. Pris pour faire de la place entre les couettes d'hiver et lit d'appoint que je rangeais dans des bacs hermétiques mais qui au gout de monsieur prenaient trop de place... J'ai donc opter pour les sacs les plus grands du marché trouvé avec la couette 260*240 cm. Elle y rentre impeccable. La petite pompe manuelle livrée est efficace et c'est un jeu d'enfant de s'en servir. Cela fait 3 mois et aucune déperdition de vide. Dans les sacs juste en dessous (large) 1 couette 1 pers + un oreiller y rentre. Dans le format medium j'y ai rangé 2 oreillers. Le plastique et la fermeture par zip semblent de bonne facture. J'ai aussi essayé avec l'aspirateur ça marche aussi vraiment bien. Je ne regrette vraiment pas mon choix pour ces sacs de rangements ! J'ai déjà été déçue de la qualité et la perte de vide par le passé mais ce kit m'a fait renoué avec ce système de rangement que notre grand ado a lui aussi adopté pour stocker ses vêtements entre 2 appart d'étudiants. This is the second time that I have purchased Vacuum storage bags and I have to say I thought buying this brand would be better then the cheap ones I brought years ago. I am not sure if I am doing it wrong but I have followed the instructions not to overfill however the 2 that I have used for bedding have needed to have the air sucked out again. The product itself seems to be of excellent quality however the air creeps back in needing to be sucked again.

They don't hold vacuüm. Al of them are filled with clothing and blankets, all of them lost vacuüm.

Alle Tüten halten sehr lange das Vakuum. Habe bis jetzt eigentlich nicht beobachten können, dass die Sachen wieder Luft ziehen. Sehr Praktisch für Reisen. Die Handpumpe nicht vergessen mitzunehmen, sondern müsst ihr Staubsauger im Hotel ausleihen. :-)
