DouxoCalm Gel for Dogs Cats (2 fl oz)

I have been using elbow butter by another company for my dogs elbow callouses for a couple of years now, and although it helped, he was still getting bloody elbows several times a year and I was putting him in a sleeve more and more often to try and help him heal.I saw this recommended on a post online somewhere and I was desperate to help my poor guy be comfortable so I gave it a try. This stuff is a miracle! I use 1-2 squirts of this on each elbow and rub it in, then I put some elbow butter on each elbow after that. I do this every morning when we get up, and in three months we have never had another issue with his callouses. They are smooth and soft and no longer cause him any pain. I am so thankful to have found that post and the suggestion for this stuff, and I hope this review helps other dog parents find a solution to make their dogs more comfortable. When my dogs vulva is bothering her she goes in circles and whines. My vet recommended that I apply Douxo Calm and it works great. After applying I keep her on her back for a short time before I let her off my lap to let Douxo Calm dry a bit since she licks at it once I put her down. It only takes a few squirts and lasts the rest of the day so it seems to last forever. For me it’s worth the money.

You would think, given the price of this product, that the manufacturer could find a way to secure the cap to the container so the liquid would not leak out and coat the bottle, the plastic wrapper and the mailer. But no, they haven’t figured it out. This is the 2nd Douxos product that has come this way. I have contacted them at their website but haven’t heard back yet. Leakage lost me 1/3 of the contents of the microemulsion spray as well, so this is a pattern, not an exception. I hope they figure out a fix soon—tighten the cap and wrap it in tape—how hard can it be? A good product, if it is still in the container when it arrives.

This product is working wonders for my dog’s elbow sores. He gets elbow callouses and then licks them when they bother him. That causes them to get infected and oozy and this product has been great at letting them heal. I have to have him wear a special shirt to protect the sores, but between this product and the protective shirt, the sores are healing nicely. I tried many other ointments and this one works by far the best at promoting healing.

works very well on hot spots on belly and yeast inflammation in between toes on my dogs. but bottle is very small does not last, little too expensive for that and also once half way through the bottom gets very thick were you can not spray it and then had to add a little water to use the rest.

My Cocker Spaniel has a skin infection which the vet suggested Douxo mousse and shampoo for it. She had some small hot spots in her hind quarters and was always licking them. This spray gave her relief and has stopped her from licking. It's easy to use and has little or no odor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! & I got delivery the very next day.

My dog gets seasonal allergies…rash on his belly and his junk. Product did nothing for the itching nor the rash. My sister bought it and it worked fine for her dog. Guess you need to find out if it works on your pet.

Very user friendly and it helped my dog a ton with his itchy skin and hot spots. He had all sorts of dermatological issues in his rear end and this was easier to apply and more effective than any other product I had tried. My vet is the one who recommended it
