There is no 'lip' at all to protect the phone screen if you place it face down. It is very nice looking & is very light. However after using Mosnovo cases for my iPhones for the past few years (without a screen protector or any damage) this case is very loose. When you are using the ring it causes the case to pull away from the phone. The biggest concern is the lack of protection of the screen when face down. Although it is a nice looking case it really offers no protection & I can't recommend it.

This case fits perfectly for the iPhone XS. Im so glad that there were no scratches or damages made on the phone. My old case for my old phone, for some reasons, tiny stones or sands got into the case and made some scratches on the back of the phone, but this one protects/seals well to the new phone, and I have been using this case for a month now. Big Plus! This case also comes with a glass screen protector. Great product for the price.

I bought this hoping to have a slimmer case on my phone than the current rubber one I had. While it is very lightweight, it does not cover the front screen of the phone completely on the edges. The phone screen sits up a little above the case so when it is dropped the impact is on the screen rather than the edge of the case. I am clumsy so I have to replace my glass screen protector every 6 months or so, and I am okay with that. I just replaced it right before getting this cover and it already has 3 gashes and several cracks on it, this has never happened this quickly with my trusty old rubber case. If you do purchase this, I would highly suggest having a screen protector on your screen for when you drop it. The back inst as comfy as a a pop socket or as sturdy to be able to use as a stand but works well and does rotate any direction which is nice. It is suppose to tuck in the groove when not in use but mine has already loosened up so it will hang there when I do not have my finger in it. Annoying more than anything. Overall, I would say pay a little more money and get something better quality.

PROS: Looks absolutely great and minimalistic. It looks EXCELLENT. And the magnet and stand work totally fine. Love it.CONS: this thing is SLIPPERY. there is NO grip on the sides. I thought I would deal with that. Then I dropped my phone from only 4 feet off the ground, and have a cracked screen (which I'll have to pay $270 to fix). The issue with this case is it does not really protrude up the sides to protect the screen; it doesnt really have much of a "lip". offeriong essentally no screen protection. I'd pass on this and get another just like it, since this one has no "lip".

I am very pleased with the way this phone case looks and functions. It’s not the strongest case in the world, but if you’re like me you only need medium protection. I had a loopy phone case before and I’ve become a custom to some sort of loop. I love the fact that is clear and silver. I get to see the sleek new iPhone xs design. The loop looks Crome. Extremely shiny!

After 4 months here is my review. The ring on the back no longer holds its self up. It’s in my way now when I go to grab my phone and putting it away. Now it’s annoying. From the beginning I felt like the case was tight around the buttons. I didn’t have to touch them to activate their actions. So I have a bunch of unwanted screenshots. Volume control all over the place. I have dropped it multiple times and it hasn’t cracked or damaged my phone. It does scratch. The magnet on the back works great with the separate magnet that I had to purchase. My phone is alive. So now I am shopping for a new case.

I’ve had this case on my phone for over a month now and so far I love it! The ring is easy to move and despite my constant playing with it, the ring is holding up very well. The case is easy to put on and take off but doesn’t come off by itself. I’ve dropped my phone many times and haven’t had any damage done to it. It’s a plain case so it’s nothing to look at, but it’s understated elegance is what I was looking for. :) I hope it last forever!

The product is beautifully classy. Gives the phone a good lookThe ring however, loses its rigidity after a few uses and will no longer maintain as a "kick-stand" for the phone.This leaves the ring only functional as a "holder" - either mounted with corresponding car mount or on user's finger.the cost (at the time $9.99) was not quite worth the value for the money - I would have expected to pay <$4 seeing as how the case itself is only a soft plastic/silicone material and the metallic looking rim around the case appears to be painted on; having no practical safety function.
