Men's Good Ways II Waterproof Jacket

I found this jacket a little “large” in size, but the material is remarkable : light, strong, breathable and TOTALLY waterproof / for the price, it’s a steal !

Not for skinny fit, build quality good

This is a lightweight, waterproofed jacket - in my case just perfect for the showery summer months. It is a boring black - which might well have benefited from some colour flashes, but that's only my opinion.It has a stowaway hood and lovely deep main pockets which can easily stow away a dog lead and swallow your hands right beyone the wrists. The pockets zip almost vertically, which I don't think is a good thing in persistent rain as they leak a little despite the flap. There is also a breast 'phone pocket' but again it is vertical and has no flap at all - it would have been better inside the flap along the main zip.Don't be put off by the word 'nylon' because the fabric looks a lot better than that suggests and is breathable so you should't get too sweaty in the rain. It's a close fit rather than baggy - I'm normally a large (42") and it looks rather smart because of the close fit - but hasn't much room for a fleece or baggy pullover underneath - which is why I say it's good for summer.

I have been very impressed with this coat over the last few weeks, and it's one of the better lightweight waterproof coats I have owned.The fit of the coat is as expected, and the quality of the workmanship on the zips, buttons, and linings are all top quality. The hood is easy to pack away around the collar and is large enough to cover the head and still have an overhang at the top of the head form water to run off, keeping it off your face. The side pockets are deep enough to keep a phone (in this case an S10+), a compass, a wallet and a pocket first aid kit. The coat's external shell is very good at keeping you dry and is certainly waterproof in heavy showers or prolonged drizzle. I doubt it would keep you dry indefinitely but it certainly kept me dry when walking for 2 hours in a light drizzle and when I got caught in a heavy shower which lasted a full 10 min.Overall, this is a great quality coat that fits well, looks great and does the job well. I would certainly recommend it!

I already own Columbia winter boots so was pleased to get the chance to try this jacket. It has a simple, clean design but is well made and most importantly - waterproof. I last used it when caught in a spring downpour and it did keep me completely dry. The hood is decent, as are the pockets.I normally take a Medium so this Large was a bit bigger than I'd usually go for but on the upside it means I can wear layers beneath it. It does seem to be breathable and I haven't got too hot and sticky when wearing it so far.I own cheaper raincoats and this is certainly on the pricier side but Columbia stuff is of good quality and well made and I believe will last for a good number of years.

This is quite a slim fit, so be wary if you have a wide-set shoulder or hip.The seams are well-made. The jacket itself is light and breathable, and wicks well. Effectively waterproof up to sideways-rain, which nothing should really be able to withstand. Straightforward to clean (wipe down) and a good range of pockets for if you want to use this on a hike, etc.

This is a plain raincoat which i received in black. It's made from nylon, with a polyester net lining. It has many pockets and a hood which you can roll up and button away. It is thin and lightweight. I tested this raincoat when it was raining heavily and I'm pleased to report I remained dry and so did everything in my pockets. This is a good rain coat which I would recommend to anyone. One issue though is that the water doesn't simply roll off but it takes a really long time to dry.
