SEVENSTAR TC 3000 110/220V AC-3000 Watt Transformer

This piece of s*** stopped working all of the sudden after a few months. Total garbage, avoid at all costs. I was using a plasma cutter at a setting using only 2000w, intermittently. I would estimate the total usage if I were using it constantly would be less than 24 hours of use. So, expect this thing to burn out on you after one day of constant use. Consider it a disposable piece of s*** or a rip off.

Update: very good product. I've been using it for 3 years and it has always worked great. I used it for my 2200W Thermomix and worked perfectly.Very good product, it works very well, not noisy, it only produces a light buzz that does not bother much. I only used it with small appliances, but I bought it to be able to plug a Thermomix, which demands up to 2200W. I will write again to tell my experience with such a powerful appliance.

After a few months, one of the item stopped working. I contact Gandi for warranty but they advised me to contact manufacturer in stead of taking care of the issue. They said they have only 30 days warranty from their side. How come you sell an item and don't stay behind your product?? Now I have to search for the manufacturer, explain the issue and wait if they can fix it!!So, they don't even deserve 1 star!!!!

Product works as advertised. Like that it has an on off switch. Makes a barely noticeable humming noise but I actually like this as it helps me to remember to turn it off. Also, be careful that you use the correct plug on the front. Husband plugged in my new food processor to the 220V output instead of the 110V. Thankfully it just turned off the processor instead of blowing the motor. We have since covered the 220V plug with tape to avoid this happening again.

this equipment is really nice. I am pretty happy with how it works. Almost everyday for at least hour and a half i have been using. It definitely deserves 5 star however the sounds it makes while working ( yes kinda annoying ) and its heavy weight ( i am assuming all have the same problem) makes it 4*

What we received was different than the picture of what we bought, but functionally the same (3000 watt 110 to 220v). One difference is that the on/off switch is on the back. It seems to being doing the job. I cannot give it 5 stars because I feel that what is pictured should be what you get.

The transformer worked for about a year and then died. Normally, I would have just change the fuse (they delivered two with the transformer), but there is no way to change the fuse for this model. We had other transformers for our European appliances, and they always had a little cap in the back with the word "fuse" written on it, but not this model. Needless to say that on the day this transformer died, somebody else blew a fuse, too...

bought two of these, one can run 1800w all day without getting hot. the second one gets so hot with 900w on it that you can smell the paint on the unit burning. safe? doubtful. gets job done, i guess. just dont follow their wattage suggestions.
