EZ-ACCESS EZ-ACCESSORIES Universal Crutch Pouch with 4 Pockets

I recently tore the ACL in my knee and will be on crutches for a while. I bought this handy crutch bag and have been completely satisfied. I use it to carry items to meetings such as pens, note paper and my no-spill coffee cup while at work. The large pouch is big enough (for those who have their CCW permit) to hold a small handgun like the Ruger LC9. Some have complained about the bag sliding down the crutch. This is easily remedied by using electrical zip ties through the existing holes in the crutch and then slipping the Velcro straps through the zip ties. Less than 5 minutes to attach to the crutch.

This has been a very helpful product while I have been relegated to crutches for several months. I am now able to put things in the pouch that I used to try to carry with one finger while keeping my hand on the crutch. For example, soda (or beer!) bottles fit perfectly as do the non-spill tall coffee mugs like you can get at Starbucks. And there is a nice zippered area for putting money in. The only reason this doesn't get five stars is the fact that, as stated in other reviews, they don't include plastic ties with this. If you don't use them, the pouch will slide down and become useless. I got my ties at Office Depot. I'm amazed they don't include them - it couldn't possibly raise the price more than ten cents!

If you strap it on to a crutch as shown, it simply falls off the crutch the minute you put anything into it. Although it comes with six velcro tabs (two more than is even possible to use) it is impossible to get them tight enough to stay on and hold anything. If you strap it on above the crutch handle, you can't get your hand between it and the handle. Utterly useless and a source of frustration when you need it least.

I bought this item after finding out that I'd be on crutches for up to three months and realized that carrying even a drink would become a chore. Unfortunately, when it arrived I quickly found out that it has a crappy attachment -- three pieces of velcro on each side -- and keeps sliding down. It does work, so if you can't find a better one, just stick with this one, but they clearly didn't think this product through. And it doesn't come with any attachment instructions, so I might be missing something, but three pieces of Velcro per side is hard to screw up.

I never realized how much stuff we love to carry around until I had ankle surgery. If they'd had this in the store next to the crutches, I would have bought it day 1. The only modification that I feel needs to happen to future styles is make the straps that hold it can be tightened with something other than velcro, since if I secured it to the hand grip, I had difficulty grabbing onto the handle or getting stuff into/out of the main pouch. If I secured it below the hand grip, then it would slide down to the bottom of the crutches and the items in the main pouch could then fall out... I ended up using really slender zip ties and leaving a big loop so that it would be down about 3-4 inches from the hand grip.

Useful but suffer from a design flaw that causes the bag to sag down. So it would not mount the way it is shown in the photos, but rather you need to mount the top straps above the handle. This means the bag gets in the way of your hand and is more difficult to fill with large items like a water bottle.

I blew out my ACL two months ago. Post-surgery, I still have one week left on crutches. Even around the house, carrying a beverage was hazardous. This little carry pouch has been indispensable. Purses are difficult on crutches but this will handle almost everything you need in a hurry -- glasses, car keys in the bottom of the drink pouch, along with credit cards and i.d., phone, cigarettes, whatever. Small items that you don't want to risk losing will tuck neatly underneath a beverage, and so be secure from falling out.

A little bit floppy and it sags, but I got a ton of use out of it and it was a great for carrying wallet and keys etc. I used a metal clippy from the office as the main pocket doesnt have velcro or any means of closing the compartment. Doesn't interfere with the crutch or hand grip at all.

Es la única bolsa que encontré para mis muletas y me ha servido muchísimo. Tiene una buena capacidad. Me cabe: celular, espejo, lapicero, carterita y sin el celular entra muy bien una toalla de manos y otro lienzo que llevo a fisioterapia. Lo único que no entiendo son la localización de las cintas Velcro, ya que en la posición donde están, para un muleta convencional, no hay manera de cómo usarlas todas o de forma que se ajusten a los tubos de la pata de la muleta. Queda chueca. Pero eso no es un impedimento para úsala. Ver foto. Tiene 4 compartimentos: una bolsa grande y profunda, una bolsa pequeñita y no profunda con zipper y por fuera un malla rectangular como para celular y una pequeñita para un lapicero u otro objeto similar. Llevo usándola unas 3 semanas y sin problemas. Llegó bien en su bolsa de paquetería. La volvería a comprar.

Ne fit pas bien sur une béquille car, une fois fixé avec les 4 attaches latérales, si on place quelque chose dans le sac, il glisse jusqu’en bas de la béquille.

With a little ingenuity, zip-tied the top straps through the crutch height adjustment holes to keep the bag from slipping down. Otherwise would have been useless as there's no way to keep it from slipping down. Works great now. Nice size for small items.

GREAT idea if it attached to my crutches like described in ad.
