These are the best solar powered lights I have found

When I first installed this light I was concerned because it did not give a bright light when activated by motion detection but the following night the light worked well giving a bright light when activated. Light installed at the beginning of December so limited daylight to charge the solar cells but light worked well , certainly for a good number of hours, cannot say if it worked all night as I went to bed. Light gives a dim light during the hours of darkness and a bright light when activated. Used light to provide illumination above my door to enable me to see key hole easily, light did that job.

Bought he MK1 version 4 years ago without the dim mode - didn't work much in winter as north facing had to turn off for days with pin so as to charge up so not expecting any different as it will never be off much even in summer , old ones still ok!

Wasn't expecting a lot from this as it was cheap and I only needed it shed a little light over my front door at night. But this product is useless. Unless it has been in strong sunlight all of the day it will not charge - if it's overcast it is unlikely to charge. If it does charge, it only lasts for a couple of hours so if you come home late at night in the winter it does not work at all. Would definitely not recommend this product.

When it is dark the LED comes on at a low level and brightens when you come into range. However later in the evening, presumably, the battery is drained so does not brighten as you come near. Does not seem to be a mode to switch off the dim always on light.

I first Purchased these lights for the front of my house 5 years ago. Today they are still working. I have purchased more for the back of my house.Fantastic value for money, rustproof, bright, very easy to install. I have them situated at my front door, so everytime I approach my front door these lights come on. Excellent value for money 100%

I've had lots of different solar motion lights in my yards over the years. These are by far my favorite. They have a low light dimmer that glows all night and switches to a bright light when it senses movement. I thought they might run out of battery before sun up but so far so good (I was up at 5:30am one day and they were still on). Of course, I'm in Florida so we usually get optimal sunshine. I will say we had a day that was cloudy for most of the day so I thought that might affect them but it didn't seem to. I also have one light that is shaded by a tree for part of the day but it seems to get enough light to still work all night.

Easy to Mount..pilot lumens dimly stays on ....runs charge from days sun down quicker
