Revell 04869 Focke Wulf Fw190 F-8 Model Kit

A really detailed engine that was superb. The display options for the final product are fantastic along with the display stand. It may have been me but I had trouble with the motor mount and fir of the engine to the fuselage.I bought another model and used the experience from the first build. This is definately a newly tooled offering and there is one challenge that I overcame from my first build and that is the motor mount. You have to be very particular and watch the directions closely. Once you get by the motor mount the fit and finish are superb. This is a challenging build but go into this build knowing that this isn't for first time builders. Both of my builds look fantastic and I decided to leave my first build with gear up and my second build with gear down and displaying the fine detail of the engine and such with the fantastic display stand.

Very nice kit, clean parts with little flash, good fit and excellent finish with great detail and panel lines. A nice cockpit. The finished model looks great and the decals are excellent. Beware though when attaching engine to engine bearer it is very easy to get it wrong. I left my engine free floating as it was easier to align and the metal ring between front and rear cylinders has to be in the right position to attach the cowling pieces correctly. This is one area that could have been better engineered. Very happy with the kit and will buy another.

A great value for money kit with excellent results for a fairly skilled modeller. Engine detail is good, and parts fit is very acceptable.

Nice FW190 kit for the FW fan who likes 1/32 scale. Good for a super detailing job. Good price since the Hasegawa kit is WAY overpriced and not really that much better than the Revell kit in my opinion Moldings are still clean and chrisp. Fine "Butcher Bird " !

Looks like one of the best OTB all plastic kits from revell I’ve seen. Have not started building it yet but the sprues and detail are impressive. Tamiya/eduard quality.

Poor molding of parts, would be much nicer if the quality control was better

Love these larger scale kits from Revell. I highly recommend this to all builders.

Its not a bad model but I found some of the parts missing and some did not fit properly. I had to modify things in order to put this together, but I enjoyed putting it together with my Grandson.

I bought this Revell kit in March 2016 Still building it. A great kit for detail one of the best I have built. Instructions very clear parts fitted greatI am using an Air brush to complete this model Together with a video build on U tubeNot completed yet I am 72 years old and find it very stimulating to buildNot for beginners but with a lot of patience is building into a fine model.I would Recommend

This is the short nose FW190. It comes with a variety of armament and cockpit choices, there are three cockpit hoods to chose from. The plastic is clear and sharp on the sprues and the parts fit well. There is a comprehensive decal sheet sans swastikas. There is no pilot figure to fit in the cockpit, there is a problem - what colour to paint it! Highly recommended.

This is one of Revells best , goes together beautifully , great detail , options galore , decals are perfect all together a highly recommended kit .

Rubbish can not understand all good reviews parts would not fit and decals do not stick. First time I have got revell will not buy again waist of money £30 + Have I been unlucky. By the way have been building models all types for 45+ years So far worst model I have tried to build. Went in rubbish bin.

The plastic is very clean and easy to install
