Grizzly Industrial G8184 - 12-Pc. Plumbing / Threading Kit

Packaging/Shipping was the worst. The case was shattered on the inside. Tools will not fit in their place. Not able to use on a job site unless tools fall out. Ended up having to use as is. Had a job to do. Do not know if it was Shipping or the MFG. Still it is a problem for me and my crew.

I loved this set until the teeth became dull after only 2 weeks of normal use.

i GOT MINE IN THE MAIL TODAY and the threaders wont even begin to cut a thread. The worst money I ever spent. The set looks great in the picture but it is worthless. The 12 piece cutter and threader set. I bought it from Amazon

It works. Use plenty of cutting oil

Just received this item. Packageing was great. The plastic case for some reason doesn't hold the plier in its place on the lid. I used the 3/4" die and it worked great. Thanks.

Plastic case was crushed to the point of unusability. Disappointed.

While the tools came in perfect order the case however does not ship well. It was broken beyond use. The plastic does not stand up to your shipping methods. There needs to be better shipping packaging around the heavy tools. Also missing is the small tape pack shown in the picture. That however is a small concern. Might try having some foam injected between the top and inner layer of the case for stability with the heavy tools it is carrying.

This will cut a thread on pipe ... barely. It is fine for non-critical joints ... pipe clamps, storage racks, etc. However, if the threads are critical ... gas or compressed air, don't think about this tool.
