The photo shows the assembled Kitchen Island next to our countertop. On the countertop, we have a combination oven, air fryer, broiler, toaster. We bought this island to facilitate cooking with this oven, not as a movable island.For some of the oven's operating modes, a pre-heat is required. Then, the food to be cooked is loaded into the oven and the oven timer starts. It is desired to have the food to be cooked already on a wire rack so that there isn't any delay between pre-heat and cook. Having the island next to the oven facilitates storing the loaded rack ready for insertion after the pre-heat.Similarly, after the food is cooked, some place is needed to sit the hot tray. Although the granite top of this island could probably withstand a hot tray, we decided to place trivets on top of the granite to help make sure the top is not cracked due to thermal shock.We also took advantage of the bottom island shelf to store the various racks used by the oven. Since some of the trays are taller, we simply removed the island wire shelf and put it on top of the wine shelf.Assembly was very easy. The quality of all wooden parts and hardware was excellent. Everything fit together perfectly. I did leave the screws slightly loose to ensure that the shelves and top would fit well. This was probably unnecessary. Before attaching the top, I turned the unit upside down to add the casters. They did not go in by hand so I placed a screwdriver in the center of each caster and tapped lightly with a hammer. They all then seated well.Looks very nice, small size, and excellent value.

I ordered this to use it in my cooking video's on Youtube MomsOnTheGo (to see it in action). It is very compact, but it works well because my kitchen isn't big in our apartment, but it works while I'm here. It's way better than using the left/right counter space. I can set up my camera in the middle and use the island to put all my ingredients. Definitely works for a small work area. I really enjoyed the feature that allowed me to see what it would look like in my kitchen. It is exactly like the assimilation. My husband put it together. He didn't complain, so I'm assuming it was o.k. He did make a comment about the drawer, but I guess it all worked out. YAY

I Purchased this to put my KitchenAid stand mixer on it, if you have a stand mixer by KitchenAid you know how heavy they can be and trying to put it up on the shelf or down in a cabinet is just backbreaking so when I saw this cart I was hoping it could work, when the cart came I had to assemble the cart which wasn’t that bad but however the instructions weren’t all that great! I now have a convenient way to be able to access my mixer and I can roll it right into the laundry room when I’m done with it. I would’ve given it a five but the instructions are vague in the damn thing took two weeks to get here which I don’t understand because it was sold by Amazon.

This multi-purpose island perfectly fits a space where I enter my house and always need a place to put down mail and other miscellany that I might have in my hands when I come inside. I will use the wire basket for incoming mail and the bottom rack for a box to hold recyclable items. When my grandchildren are visiting, it will be their own cooking/prep island and I will also use it for occasional prep. I am super pleased about the ease of assembly - took under 30 minutes with zero profanity! The wood is beautiful quality and the granite top makes it look like I paid MUCH more. It arrived well packaged with no damage. I'm so pleased and excited to find exactly what I needed for a great price. Highly recommend!

Ok. $56 bucks, didn't have huge expectations. BUT, the granite top was beautiful and flawless, the wood itself was quite nice and well finished. There were a few unexpected details that were nice, and, save for the rather sparse instructions (make sure you put the top on right... the plastic piece you attach underneath goes to the front!) well, I'm probably going to order another. I'm using this for the Hair and Makeup Artist in my photo studio, and want the second to use as a prop (I also do food photography!)Well worth the money, and well thought out. Sturdy, good looking, rolls easily and actually has some real design to it rather than being purely functional.

I ordered this to use as a small kitchen island. It's very nice for the money, with a real granite top. Like an earlier reviewer, mine came with a front drawer piece that was defective. The slot for the drawer bottom was on the wrong side of the front piece making it impossible to use. I didn't realize this until I had the rest of the cart fully assembled. However, I contacted the manufacturer viva the email on the instruction sheet and they promptly sent me a replacement! I am very pleased, both with my purchase and with the excellent customer service.

Received mine with a big chip out of the top. It couldn’t have happened in shipping because the missing piece isn’t in the box. Great looking kitchen cart other than that but still disappointing

I'm so glad I made this purchase. This is the perfect size for my kitchen and for what I needed. It's easy to assemble, is sturdy, and good quality. I love having the brakes, although with it against the kitchen wall, it's sturdy enough to not roll away on me (if you have young kids or pets, I would recommend always having the brakes on).The top is definitely REAL granite and it's heavy! It's a great price, but in no way looks or feels cheap. Highly recommend!
