A brand I've always had, so was high in my list when needing a new multi tool. This doesn't disappoint. The locking system can be seen as a bug bear, but it's safety. You get used to it after a short while. Worthwhile purchase for the outdoors person and sportspeople

Mine broke after 20 years, wondered if I could still buy the same Multi-tool, and yes, happy chap.

I have been so impressed with this multi-tool that I bought 2 more as Christmas presents.It is reassuringly weighty, well designed and the construction is clearly bomb-proof. I have now used it frequently for various tasks for several months and I can report no problems whatsoever with it.It has just enough tools to be useful for most purposes without having so many that it becomes fiddly and awkward to select what is required as is the case with other overloaded multi-tools. Also, compared to other well-known brands this Gerber Multi-Tool represents excellent value for money.It feels as if it is designed to last a lifetime and I think it will.

Would have got 5 stars across the board..........but! It has one useless blade!The saw is absolutely useless! It doesn't cut anything and just gets chocked up even when cutting cardboard!Would be perfect if a file was on it instead.The one thumb access to both cutting blades with one action ((oh its holder is crap too the belt holder stretches and velcro fail too) (I got a leather stud faster of amason)) is brilliant and fast especially when used for work or any other time you require fast access to a sharp blade, I get get it out in my hand and blade out in a second. Just shame about the saw.
