Refresh Liquigel Lubricant Eye Gel, 0.5 fl oz (15mL) Sterile

DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I use this product in South Africa and I buy it in a little pharmacy. I find it very expensive in my country, so on googling Amazon UK, it is even more expensive. How can these prices be justified? Leaves the eye with a blobby feeling for quite a while>

I've suffered from dry eyes for quite some time, give or take 4-5 years of my early adult life. It was quite bad, and I desperately needed something to hydrate my eyes. I was recommended to use this lubricant by my doctor as an over-the-counter (OTC) remedy. It's a gel, not a runny liquid, so it's supposed to act as a film over your tears to prevent them from evaporating too quickly. I found that it's very effective! Not only is it easy to squeeze the bottle and get a nice drop or two out, but it provides great relief! It last for quite some time too. I tend to use this twice a day: one in the morning, and another in the late evening. Overall, it's a nice lubricant eye drop! It's worked for me very well for the past couple of years. I no longer need it, but it's definitely brought me a lot of relief when I needed it. Great stuff!

Getting older has me at a lot of changes to my body. One, is dry eyes. I can no longer wear contacts because of it. When I spoke to my Dr, this is what they recommended. Gel drops. They coat your eye better and last longer. Also forms a barrier to help keep your eyes lubricated longer. I can use regular drops, but I'm constantly having to reapply them. This is definitely better. Because they are gel, I suggest using them when you have time to let them soak in. One drop is more than enough for your eye. So the bottle will last, worth the money. I put them in, close my eye and kind of roll my eyes around to get it everywhere. I then dab off the excess. Nothing else has worked as well.

I use this companies regular liquid single dose drops all the time after it was recommended to me after LASIK surgery. I loved that little thing for bonfires and just everyday use! When my kid went to the optometrist due to a weird looking skin flap and we discovered that he is highly likely to get a sty all the time (mostly cause his eyelashes point down and he susceptible to that thing getting into his eyes), this was recommended. Firstly, my kid loves it, so much so, he reminds me he needs to put it on. He says his eyes don’t itch as much when he uses it. We’ve taken this to trips and it’s definitely easier to use on a daily basis than the single dose drops. It’s not greasy and moisturizes his eyeballs while keeping his pesky and long eyelashes out of his eyes and keeping him from getting the dreaded stye.

I've been using the liquigel drop about a week. I use a CPAP, so my eyes dry out. And they are dry to start with. Eye drops help during the day, but no matter what, my eyes were drying out. Refresh liquigel, my first night was an experiment. My eye glued shut because the gel was in my eyelashes and CPAP dried them. Second Night, blotted eyes dry, and my eyes weren't glued shut in the morning, weren't as dry as normal. Still need drops so this is still a work in progress.
